Made my 4th of July even better!!!!!!!

This past weekend for the 4th of July my wife and I stayed at this hotel. I don't know where to begin about this hotel. The staff was very polite and curtious! We showed ip early hoping to check in before the Sox game. They couldn't get us into out room but took care of our bags and when we got back had the bags already waiting in our room ! Our room was very clean and was beautiful with a view of Fenway Park! The location was excllent right in the middle of Kenmore Square with all the shops and resteraunts in our grasp. Sleeping at night was no problems of the busy city! A must stay if you are coming to Boston!!!!!!!

WONDERFUL WEEKEND!!!

this hotel is awesome! everyone is so nice and the service was top-notched!!! they setup a crib for my daughter as well as always provided us everything else we needed to make our time in the hotel commonwealth very enjoyable. the location off kenmore makes this hotel one of the most convenient hotels we've ever stayed at. my wife loves the "fresh" products available and my daughter loved the teddy bear she was given. will definitely stay here again.

Great hotel

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Room was top notch, very clean, extremely helpful staff. Hotel is located a little outside of the downtown area, but there's a subway station just outside the hotel entrance (Kenmore Station on the green line) from which you can get anywhere very easily. Restaurant in the hotel (Eastern Standard) is a bit pricey, but excellent for both dinner and breakfast.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

If you take the subway (the "T") to the section of the city called the "North End" there are many excellent Italian Restaurants within a short walk of the T station. We dined at Lucia's on Hanover Street and it was fabulous. Dinner for two including wine and dessert, tax and tip ran us $98. Not cheap, I know, but it was first rate and the food and service were both outstanding.

Wonderful hotel. Very clean, very comfortable room. Very helpful and pleasant staff., From hailing a cab to running to our car for a forgotten umbrella, the staff was exceptional. Have stayed in many hotels but this will be the one we go back too!

Super friendly luxury hotel

My husband and I were going to a Red Sox game and Hotel Commonwealth is within walking distance to Fenway park. So we decided to stay there. From the minute we walked in the door to the minute we left the service was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, and said hello. They even upgraded us to a junior suite.
