awsome

Everything is great, I can't believe it is only a two stars hotel. I even can't the major difference between a two-star and a four-star hotels. Anyway the location is absolutely close to the subway station, and they even supply with enough breakfast and even a simply supper.

Overnight Near Airport

We stayed at Holiday Inn Express on Boston Street so we would be closer to Logan after spending the weekend in New Hampshire. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the room was comfortable. The location was difficult, but everything went well.

barely passable

We were driving and had a terrible time figuring out how to get to the hotel from Boston St. Couldn't get drapes to close so had too much light all night, making sleep difficult. When we inquired about the shuttle to get to the airport the next day, no one told us we needed to purchase a ticket, requiring us to hold up the shuttle while we went back in to do this.

Good Boston hotel

Friendly atmosphere, clean, and right next to a shopping center which was convenient. Easy to get a taxi if you ask the concierge. It's just outside of downtown Boston and a great deal.

Nice clean hotel with breakfast and wi-fi included only 4 stops from downtown Boston

Nice hotel which included free (outdoor) parking, free breakfast (bacon, sausage, eggs, yogurt, bagels, toast, cereal, cinnamon buns and coffee or tea at all times), free wi-fi, free local calls and a free shuttle to the nearest subway station (but we always just walked). Only 7 minute walk to the closest subway station and then only 4 stops to downtown Boston. Buy the 7-day pass if you are there for more than 2 days as it's only 15$! The hotel room itself was very clean with modern amenities like a fridge, microwave, flat screen tv with cable. Bathroom was also very nice. Only complaint was that the bed could have been firmer and we got a room with a view away from downtown (so request a room facing downtown if you can). From what I could tell the hotel is in the Polish? neighborhood and there was a small trip mall with an Applebees and Olive Garden right behind it but apart from this there is nothing to see in this neighborhood. I highly recommend doing all the sights on the Freedom Trail, many of which are free including the Old North Church and the USS Constitution tour as well as seeing the Public Gardens near Boston Common and the Samuel Addams Brewery tour, which is also free and gives many beer samples! We also toured the Aquarium which costs about 20$ but it well worth it! Overall I thought this was a really good hotel to stay at to tour Boston especially if you get a good rate (we got 180$ a night!)

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

A transit pass for the week was only 15$ whereas a day pass is 9$! Subway stop was only a 5 minute walk away and only 4 stops to downtown. Completely worth it.
