Clean and convenient

This was a great location for my business trip. The key amenity that I needed was WiFi, because, as I said, I am traveling for business. They had WiFi and it generally worked but was a 3 out of 5 for signal strength. Acceptable, but falling somewhat short of the standard that I really need to be efficient. They also charge an additional daily fee for WiFi, which I guess is OK considering that this was much cheaper than nearby hotels and was of a good standard. I really liked the express check-in -- it drives me crazy when it takes 15 minutes and they ask me 45 questions when they really don't need to at all. Strangely, the TV was about 20 feet from the bed, so it wasn't really that watchable. I guess I didn't care that much but this was for sure a curious arrangement. All in all, the location was good, the price was great considering nearby alternatives and it was easy to get to and from Logan. I would stay here again if passing through Boston.

Very nice hotel

The hotel was very clean and well kept. They did not have a king size available even though I had reserved one but oh well. The staff was really great, my flight home was cancelled and the concierge was extremely helpful in getting a rental car right at the hotel for me. The room was very large and clean, tv was somewhat small and far away compared to the size of the room. Overall a nice hotel in the financial district.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

About a ten minute walk in the North End is Neptune Oyster restaurant. Delicious oysters and fresh seafood if you like that type of food. Get there early or expect to wait 45 minutes (they will take your number and call when a seat is ready so you can grab a drink down the block while waiting) because the place is tiny...but well worth it!

Mr Dooleys Irish Restaurant next door to the hotel is an inexpensive alternative to fine dining at the hotel.
