Boston friendly

Very helpful staff. Expensive but a good value for Boston. Parking was $43 a night which I didn't know till we got there. Location was good because it was right by the orange line train station but bad because its by Tufts medical center & there were ambulances throughout the night going past. Also, the pool was in the adjacent YMCA which wasn't convenient.

Good Hotel & Close to Fenway

We needed to book a hotel close to Fenway Park for the Red Sox's game. This hotel was the perfect choice for pricing and distance (a quick trip on the T). Especially considering that I booked this the day before our trip, it was an excellent choice for the ball park and a night out on the town. The staff was courteous. The only thing that was annoying was one of the valet guys yelling at me for my keys- you just don't want to deal with that after driving for 5 ours. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel to anyone that need to be near the theater district and only a short train ride away to Fenway Park.

Not bad

The hotel was located just outside of Chinatown. Great location for what we had planned. The room was spaciuous and the bed very comfortable.

Hidden Gem

Spacious, clean and affordable - close to all transit hubs. Walkable to super-cool South End, South Station, Downtown. and tons of taxis for those places in between. Love that there is a Starbucks downstairs as well as a cafe and Bar. and the integrated YMCA makes it great for those who require gym access. only downer is paying for the wireless.. but the rate is not that bad.

Family Wedding

One's stay at a hotel is the most import factor in making a trip the best ever. Double Tree Downtown was that and more. It was walking distance to almost all our needs including church, with the subway right outside the door as backup. The rooms were big and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
