Our short stay in Boston
The staff was not friendly and did not make an effort to make customers welcome. Breakfast was good except the room was very small and staff was always on the way filling items while customers were trying to get breakfast. The hotel room had good space and clean beds. The hotel is far from downtown, but they have a good shuttle service to the metro.

There is a bowling alley within walking distance to the hotel which is a good place to go when there is nothing to do at end of night with good food and things to do for family.

FIRST DAY OF CHECK INN ON 12/09/10 ROOM# 120, THERE WAS NO HEAT IN ROOM,THURSDAY DAY TOLD DESK,RETURN THURSDAY NO HEAT,CALL DESK,MAINTANCE SENT IN,HEATING UNIT IS COMPLETELY GONE,THE REPAIR MAN WORDS,HAD TO MOVE TO ROOM#106 TO COMPLETE LAST OF STAY.THEY SAID BECAUSE THIS WAS PRE-PAID ORBITS WILL GIVE ME A PARTIAL REFUND.

EXPECTED MORE COMMUNICATION FROM HOTEL STAFF ABOUT THE HEATING PROBLEM.IT'S NO FUND RE-PACKING AND MOVING TO ANOTHER ROOM. AND HAVING TO WAIT ON THAT ROOM TO HEAT-UP BEFORE GOING TO BED AFTER A FULL DAY OF WALKING THE FREEDOM TRAIL IN VERY COLD WEATHER.COMODE NOT WORKING IN ROOM 106 FOR REMAINDER. OF STAY.

This hotel is situated outside
This hotel is situated outside the downtown area, but offers a good shuttle service to JFK station on the Metro network. It also provides pickup from Logan airport. As an added bonus during our stay, it provided a shuttle service to the cruise ship terminal. A very good breakfast was provided daily. Staff were quite helpful and gladly changed our room when requested. I was quite happy with my choice of this hotel for our stay in Boston.

After we were given a room that
After we were given a room that wasnt released-still being cleaned we were moved. The rooms were nice and clean. The laundry was good but when you wanted to wash your clothes one staff member would only say we could have $5 worth of quarters. The bowling alley was great however the games were out of order or didnt give the tickets it was also advertised as on site but it was a walk to the alley which was across a road as was the restaurant. We would however satay here again as it was a pleasant hotel

Room was excellent. Breakfast excellent. Staff were surprisingly flat in their service delivery - that was our only negative. It's a fair way out of Boston's centre, but there's an excellent shuttle to the local subway.

The staff are helpful & friendly,
The staff are helpful & friendly, facilities good and a reasonable breakfast is included in the tariff.There is a free courtesy shuttle from the JFK station, just a few stops from the centre of town that runs every half hour which makes the location ok. My only criticism is the lack of reasonable dining nearby but there is a shop and stop opposite. Grayline tours also pick up and drop off to the hotel. Would stay there again.

Maybe go to the Ramada next time.
Breakfast was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had to walk to Ramada Inn (5 minutes) for restuarants and swimmming pool. Bowling Center was also 5 minutes away.

If interested in staying in this location, use the Ramada (5 minute walk)). It's owned by the same folks as Comfort Inn, but everything is at the Ramada, except the small workout room (it does have the basics).
