Each room features plush Sealy pillow-top mattresses with deluxe bedding, 37-inch flat-panel TV, Keurig gourmet coffee maker and Sharper Image Sound Soother alarm clock with iPod dock. So so seevice
The room is nice period. Lacks natural as well as artificial light. I had to call for towels every day and one of the ones I got was literally a piece of rag.

GREAT CHOICE!!
This trip was a surprise for my fiancee, the Red Sox Fan :) and this hotel went beyond my expectations. The service is excellent, food at Basserie Jo is outstanding, location is sooooo perfect (right next to the T and minutes away from Fenway Park).... need I say more? The front desk was very helpful in any questions we had, the rooms are so modern n simply amazing. By far one of the best stays I've had, and I'm a very frequent traveler.

Great location
My husband, daughter and I went to Boston to explore the city, go shopping and catch a Red Sox game. I decided to stay in the Back Bay area and I chose The Colonnade Hotel. Everyone was extremely nice although we weren't in the room much. The room was very well kept. Felt very comfortable and nice. The staff brought a crib up for my daughter to sleep in for no extra charge. The location was the best thing about this hotel. It sits directly in the middle of everything we wanted to do. We walked everywhere and really enjoyed it. And the rooms being small was not too big of a deal. I would say these rooms are larger than most hotels in Boston. I did notice that was a con in many reviews.

Hotel stay
Our coffee maker was broken and our remote for the tv didn't work well. When it rained there was a strong smell in the bathroom from the toilet. It was so bad that the maid even turned her nose up at it and called a technician to come fix it. It would go away for a short time only to reappear later.

Fabulous hotel in great location!
Beautiful hotel in super convenient location. I took my 2 kids (5 & 7) all over town by T (Prudential stop right across the street) or by foot. The room was spotless and filled with natural light, the bed was lush and comfortable, and the service was friendly and efficient. We requested a small refrigerator upon check-in and it was there as soon as we arrived at our room. The pool on the roof was fantastic! Drinks and great food at bargain prices (much lower than room service!), lots of towels, etc. Loved this hotel!! One the down-side, we had some noisy neighbors which got annoying at bed time.

Across the street at the Prudential shopping center there are tons of low-priced dining and snacking options. Ask for a refrigerator in your room and keep leftovers and cold drinks!
