Great hotel in great location

First the Hotel -Nice sized rooms -Friendly Staff -Parking is pricey, but convenient that they have it. -Very accommodating when I altered reservation -Rooms were very quiet and had large TVs. Location -You're near the orange and green lines for the T -In the heart of Boston, so walking distance from South End, Back Bay, Public Gardens/Boston Common -Right across from the Prudential Mall which can be useful at times during a trip.

Great amenities - gym, TV, fridge, needs microwave

The place is truly clean and pretty on the inside. it also has great views overall. The gym - something i care about was great. The staff was helpful. The elevator is a bit slow but who really cares about that. In the boston back bay/copley sq area, hotels aren't cheap but I feel i got great value here. Didn't try their breakfast bar - brasserie jo. Included Breakfast would be great

great location, great restaurant

Easy to get to, parking available (for a reasonable price for the city) in the building!!! a big plus as Boston is a hard city to find a parking space in. Fantastic restaurant on first floor, which stays open after hours as a bar with a menu for after concert/theater drinks. Note room service stops at midnight. Rooms are beautifully appointed. Staff is friendly and professional. Walking distance to Theater and concert halls on Huntington avenue - a short 4-6 block walk depending on where you are going! Would stay here again!

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Walking in same direction towards Jordan Hall and Symphony Hall, you will pass by the Christian Science building which has a beautiful reflecting pool and the maparium - two great things not to miss! short cab ride to the Museum of Fine Art.

Connecting rooms

This hotel ticks all the boxes except if you score a room with a connecting door as there is no sound insulation for the door so that you can almost hear the adjacent guests breathing. In my case they were quite talkative though not exceptionally loud but I heard everything and not able to sleep until they stopped. Otherwise as long as you stipulate 'no connecting room' you will have a good stay.

A good place to stay

I got a room on the 6th floor facing Huntington Ave. The room was clean and comfortable. But I was waken up in the morning by the noise from the street traffic. The staff are very helpful. The doorman somehow knew the drivers of the taxies lined up in the front and introduced me to my driver. The thing I really hate is I had to pay $14 to get internet connection in the room for only 24 hours. They don't even offer free Wi-Fi in their small lobby. I was not able to raise the room temperature. The engineer sent by the front desk told me the thermostat is nly for AC. But he gave me a small heater. The taxi fare from this hotel to Logan airport was $22 including toll.
