Great hotel, great location
MusicLovers Nov 1, 2009
My girlfriend and I stayed here on a Saturday night to see the Boston Symphony - our first impression of the hotel wasn't ... great, as the woman at the registration desk was a bit brash. However, our room (we upgraded to a suite for only $15 once we got there) was beautiful - spotlessly clean and a corner view. The staff (besides our first encounter) was very helpful, giving us clear directions to get around town, and helpful recommendations for restaurants and bars in the area. The location of Club Quarters could hardly be better; there are myriad places to shop, dine, and sightsee within easy walking distance - you can practically see Faneuil Hall from right outside the hotel, and be sure to visit the graveyard up the street to check out the tombs of Paul Revere, John Hancock, and Sam Adams. Unfortunately, almost everything seems to close down in the financial district on the weekends - we couldn't find anywhere in the vicinity to have a Sunday brunch without having to take a cab. Speaking of which - don't bother going to the restaurant/pub attached to the hotel. It's overpriced and, tastewise, a little TOO authentically British, if you catch my drift. All in all, we had a great experience at Club Quarters Boston during our short stay. And you just can't beat the free bottled water.

This hotel was ideal for my stay, great location and very clean and modern room with flat screen TV and great bathroom. The ... only complaint i have is the construction work that was being carried out on the front of the building started at 8.00am. Apart from that i would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly front desk person. It was nice room in a quiet area. The location of the hotel made ... our getting to points of interest in town so much easier. The restaurant attached to the hotel had great food. We walked to most of our destinations or took the local transit which was a short walk from the hotel. All in all it was a great holiday made nicer by the location of the hotel and the staff there. Would definitely recommend the hotel to others visiting Boston and area.

We went to Boston to see the sights & attend a surprise birthday party. We walked most of Freedom Trail, which runs a block ... from the hotel, and spent a good amount of time downtown. Clean, well-maintained, secure hotel. Great location, between two T stops. The bed was too soft/old.

On weekends, restaurants in financial district are closed, & you'll have to eat near more "touristy" areas. This isn't a big deal, b/c they're only a few more blocks from the hotel.

Tulsa Travelers Aug 12, 2009
My family likes to stay in downtown areas but we don't like the huge high rise luxury hotels so Club Quarters was a very nice ... choice for us. It's very close to the Freedom Trail and Boston Commons. We walked almost everywhere ... bookstores, historic places, restaurants, Charles River, etc. The hotel staff were helpful and answered any questions we might have. The internet wasn't working one evening, but otherwise, everything was fine.

Wonderful location for sightseeing or business meetings. Elephant and Castle housed on the street level serves a great ... breakfast as well as other meals. Easy walk to the Piers for restaurants, shopping. Underground trains very close. Hotel often has upgrades to larger rooms and suites available for$15-20. Wireless in all rooms. Two computers available in lounge/library. Enjoy!

Easy to find dining for any occasion. A walk out the door left or right or just downstairs and you will find all kinds of food choices. Walk left to the trees in the distance where you will find Fanuell Hall and food stalls and shops as well as fine dining along the wharfs. A short walk to the left behind Fanuell Hall and you come to the North End and Italian restaurants and shops. No fear in walking by yourself or with a group..

Boston Weekender Jul 27, 2009
Our room was clean and comfortable. Our favorite feature was the large desk and workspace. Wireless internet was free and ... worked well. We asked for an extra bed and it came within 10 minutes. We stayed only one night, but I would be happy to stay again. If our stay also included a continental breakfast, I would have been completely satisfied.
