Club Quarters hotels provide a secure, club-inspired atmosphere in prime locations throughout the United States. Free bottled water on each floor, flat-screen TVs, and an iPod docking station make this Boston hotel comfortably modern. Listen to your favorite tracks while dining casually in your room - meals are available made-to-order from neighboring restaurants, along with the on-site Elephant and Castle bar, a British-themed pub with an extensive whiskey and beer menu. Neighborhood
Club Quarters in Boston is located in Boston's Financial District, next to Washington Square and within walking distance of Quincy Market, Boston Commons, and the historic Orpheum Theater - one of the oldest theaters in the United States. Bars, restaurants and shops are varied in this traditionally Irish and Italian neighborhood, and the area is a hub for access to the T, Boston's light rail system, so it's an excellent place for visitors to begin exploring the city.
Hints and tips
Rooms in Club Quarters hotels are more European in proportion than American travelers may be used to, so be prepared for a cozy room.

The upside of this is that Club Quarters offer much better rates than other hotels, as they use their available space more efficiently.

Convenient Location for Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed a long Memorial Day Weekend with our adult daughter. The hotel was convenient location for Freedom Trail and other historic sites. Public transit was easy to navigate to far sites and airport. The Elephant & Castle Pub in the same building was more than a pleasant surprise. THe food was excellent and the staff friendly. Just a hint, portions were huge....easy to split entres here! Only complaint on the room was the bed was too soft! Hotel was quiet and housekeeping staff was accomodating on requests for extra towels, etc. Would stay here again if we are back in Boston.

Very nice but small

The location was great, close to Quincy Market, the Old South Meeting Place, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, and H&M. We choose the motel for the convenience. There was an restaurant attached that we never had a chance to sample but it seemed like a popular spot. The staff was extremely helpful. The only negative was the space of the room and bathroom. My friend and I joked that we were back in the college dorms. Had everything you needed and very clean but little space. Not sure I would stay here again just based on the size of the room.

Convenient for the price

We were just there for an extended weekend away. We always go to Club Quarters because it's a great value and it's really close to Quincy Market! Unfortunately, I paid for a queen sized bed and got 2 doubles instead-not good when you're going as a couple. Also, they didn't give us any soap in the bathroom and there is usually refillable water bottles that are provided-which there was none of. Our past trips were great, this one was more disappointing.

Would normally recommend, but...

This location of this hotel is convenient to everything, it's smaller, but very clean, and the on-site restaurant/bar is a plus. However, they are re-doing the office building right across the street - so there are cranes/construction noises all night long. So, make sure you request a room that does not face the street!

The customer service at the hotel was great. The room was too small and parking was way too expensive.

Evening Away

Mixed feelings about this hotel. The location was just where we wanted it. Close to Faneuil Hall, Boston Common and a few other places we visited. Also the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. But... Three things worked against it. First there was quite a bit of noise outside the room that was much too easy to hear. The music at the restaurant next door was extremely loud until early in the morning (not the hotel's fault#. Also the guest who came in at 2:45am only to find his room door locked with a deadbolt by his roommate insisted on pounding and yelling for the person to open the door #again not really something that was the hotel's fault). Both were much too easy to hear. In other words the soundproofing could use some work. Second, we knew the room/bathroom were going to be small and were fine with that because we were going for the location but I have to say I can not stand being attacked by the shower curtain when in the shower. Using a curved shower curtain rod would make a huge difference in the bathroom and give you the room you need. Lastly, when you put the privacy card in the door lock the last thing you expect is to hear the housekeeping staff remove the card and try to enter the room, especially not 2 hours before checkout time. Not only did they do that but they also tried to enter the room 2 more time during the next hour even though we told them we were still in the room. Extremely annoying. Although there were some nice things about the hotel I would hesitate to stay there again because of the negatives.

Nice hotel but...

The hotel was nice and clean, but the staff really could use a course in all things local to Boston. Maybe the financial district isn't the best place to stay if you want good food, but they could not seem to direct us to any location with anything good to eat. On top of that, a local friend told us to meet her at a specific restaurant and when we gave the name and address and asked the best way to get there, they told us the WRONG T stop, the wrong line even, and we ended up being almost an hour late.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Not much was open to eat nearby on the weekend. Make sure to get up early enough to either eat at the pub connected to the hotel (they don't serve breakfast very late) or to go somewhere 15 minutes away. There were bagels not far, but that was it.
