Smallest Room Ever

The room I stay was tiny. If there was two of us I would have left.

An absolutely perfect location

I was visiting the city with my girlfriend who had never been to Boston. After booking the hotel she told me of the things that she wanted to see and all were an easy walk from the hotel. The room was on the smaller side but it was plenty big for the two of us. The staff was very pleasant and attentive and also offered to check our bags for the afternoon after check out so we could see some more of the city. We had no car so I can't speak to the parking situation. The subway line (blue) that runs from the airport will take you within a block of the hotel on weekdays and within two on weekends. It's only $2. I am more than willing to stay at this hotel again.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Cafe Pompei in little Italy offers a fairly inexpensive breakfast. Skip the traditional stuff and go with one of the specials, I had 2 eggs with mozzarella and proscuito over an english muffin. It also came with a capuccino all for $7.

Good for a quick overnight

The staff was fantastic and that's what made this hotel stay good. The rooms are tiny but the beds are sooo comfy. For the price I paid I was expecting more. The location of this hotel makes up for what it lacks. I would stay here again for that reason alone.

nice small hotel

Nice small hotel located near TD Garden, Bostons north end and Train depot (north station). Room had no drawers to put clothes in and no full length mirror .. The last night and part of next day, we had NO HOT WATER due to a boiler problem. I would stay there again if i went back

Boston Honeymoon

My wife and I wanted to see the sights. For that the location on the Bulfinch was perfect. Within a few hours we had the layout down pat. We walked to everything from the hotel. The Freedom Trail, Harbor Walk, Mikes Pastry, Boston Commons, just about everything. If you can't get it to it, the T has two stops nearby. Now for the downers. Rooms are small, very! Everything else was small too. The ice bucket wouldn't hold more then a coke can. No luggage racks and everything was cramped. The folks there were helpful. The one computer was in the hallway. If you aren't going to spend much time in the room, (We didn't) then it's location is the main attraction and it is a neat historical building, but so is pretty much everything in that end of town.

great experience

Pros: the location is amazing, the staff is very nice and professional. The room was clean and comfortable Cons: the room was a little small, there's no mini-fridge, bathroom doesn't have an exhaust fan. you have to `pay` $30 per night but its just a deposit incase you break something and get the money back eventually

I did not have high expectations

I did not have high expectations after reading reviews of this hotel but its location and price suited me so I took a chance. Was very pleasantly surprised all round. It is an interesting building - and an upgrade to a suite on the corner showed off some of its quite quirky architecture. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful and location was great for seeing the city on foot, using public transport or eating around Quincy Market or North End. Would recommend and use again

GREAT EXPERIENCE!

Where to begin. The hotel was located a short walking distance from all of the tourist attractions in Boston. While the hotel room was smaller, it was perfect for two. No free shuttle to the airport, but have a shuttle that picked us up and driver provided excellent tour of local businesses and attractions. Staff's first priority are the hotel guests. They were very helpful in any questions we had and made excellent recommendations as well as contacted restaurants to make sure we had the best service.

Bulfinch review

The hotel was beautiful and the location was perfect. We were able to easily walk all over the city. Our only complaint was that the room was rather small.
