great find for families, convenient loc.

Loved that it was attached to all the indoor shopping and restaurants since Boston's weather is so very cold! Everything was in walking distance- a plus since no one wants to try to park in this city! Overall very clean, friendly, super location and convenient for our family with kids.

Beautiful Hotel, Great Stay

This is a beautiful, well kept hotel. Expect some lines at the elevator. Very little noise. The concierge told me to go to a restaurant that had changed its name, and couldn't give me great directions when I needed them, so make sure you can figure out where to go on your own (have a map and a travel book about Boston). The room was spacious and very clean. There are free cookies in the lobby, and a mall is attached to the hotel if you like to shop. I am a female student and was traveling to visit grad schools, and I felt very safe staying here. It was mostly young professionals, but a family with fairly quiet and well-behaved children would probably also be happy staying here. I thought the hotel was a good value for the money[...]

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Six Burner has delicious affordable food, including a great breakfast special with a bunch of free things included in the meal (like tea or coffee, plus orange juice, lemon poppyseed cake with almond extract, and then whatever you've ordered). Also loved the restaurant Pho and I, a little south west on Huntington.

Impressing

The hotel has an extraordinary view of Boston, the Charles River, and MIT. Also, the location is superb: Everything is nearby: shops, subway, restaurants, and for the extra cold days: a gateway bridge connects the hotel with the mall, which in return takes you straight to the subway, without ever having to breath "fresh" air :-) Our room was on the 35th floor, and the sunshine woke us upin the morning; it was perfect. From Newberry to Boylston, from subway, to fancy clothing stores (Neiman&Marcus, jcrew, banana republic, etc.) to exquisite restaurants, everything is in walking distance. We had a very nice experience and no complains.

Time-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Both, the green and the red line are less than 3 walking minutes from the hotel. Breakfast, good and for little money, nearby.

Location, Location, Location

The sky bridge to the Prudential Center made the walks to my destination much warmer. Those looking for shopping will enjoy the numerous high-end stores and carts along the way. In the center of the Back Bay, Copley Place is close to everything. The room itself was not overly large, but not tight. Everything was clean and orderly. The view was beautiful, including views of the harbor. Amenities included large flat-screen, in-room safe, internet hub, and single-serving coffee and tea with to-go cups. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Great Location and Value

This is a great hotel to stay in while visiting Boston for both business and pleasure. Rooms are nicely decorated, quiet, clean and comfortable. The hotel is clean throughout. Friendly staff throughout. You couldn't ask for better location. Every major attraction Boston has to offer is a short distance away and accessible by subway which is a conveniently located nearby. For the shoppers..walk out the lobby in your in the middle of a huge mall with hundreds of stores. This was my 3rd time staying at this particular hotel and plan on staying here again. Avoid high taxi fares from the airport to the hotel which run about $36. Take the subway for $2 a person and about a 30 minute train ride...same for taxi with traffic or even longer. My one complaint is the high rates charged to park in the hotel parking garage.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Take the subway to and from Logan for only $2.00 each way! Take the shuttle from the airport to Airport Station on the Blue Line. Get off at State Station and take the Orange Line to Back Bay Station then walk across the street into the mall and walk to the Marriott. Save $16 over a van and $33 or more on a cab.

Convenient, comfortable, friendly staff!

We cannot say enough about this beautiful, clean hotel located close to the Boston Public Library, Trinity Church, many restaurants, and accessible via a glassed-in walkway to the Prudential Center Mall. The staff was very friendly and responsive to all requests. We loved having access to a computer in the lobby to print boarding passes.

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

Antico Forno in the North End is a fabulous Italian restaurant with the best pasta sauce either of us had ever had! It's easily accessible via the MBTA.
