Not great!
We stayed over for a red sox game it also happened to be our anniversary. I wasnt impressed. Beds were very uncomfortable, like laying on bricks. Everything was out of date. It was good walking distance to Fenway. But it wasn't the comfort I was hoping for.

Nice Accomodations
I was on a floor where they seem to be doing constructio. My view was the top of the roof where all the machibery to the building was I guess. The poeple in the next room sounded like they were right in my room, paper thin walls I guess. I wish I had a room higher up like on the top floor. Room service had misplaced my order and I had to call to see what happened. Love that the food court was on the hotel groung floor.

Decent stay
I stayed at the Best Western Longwood for an interview at Brigham, and it was really a great location. Staff was friendly and the room was clean. I'd definitely recommend for anyone with an interview or meeting in the area!

Burton's Grill was a nice walk away and was fantastic. A rather romantic setting, and better service than we experienced anywhere else in Boston.

Very Pleased!
The only bad thing I can say about this place for what we used it for was the unpleasant walk from the parking garage to the hotel lobby, but at least it was all connected. We were blown away with how big the room was and the 3 queen beds in the room plus couch! The walk was a little farther to Fenway then we had anticipated, but was very do-able. We were not in the room or the hotel for long, but when we were it served our needs and we would definetly think about staying there on our next trip to Boston!

Close to Fenway
We had a wonderful time at our recent stay. Hotel was very clean and what little interaction we had with the staff was fine. Walking distance to Fenway park was a plus. Leave the hotel and take a right were all the directions we needed to find it. The only strange thing was that we had to pay an extra dollar wo park since we were staying at the hotel. Parking garage was attached to hotel so it was very simple to get to. I would stay here again.

Friendly Staff in nice area of Boston
The Best Western Boston was very comfortable, and the staff was very helpful. We especially appreciated the desk clerk helping us find the correct 'T' location to get to the Boston Aquarium, even going as far as stepping out to the sidewalk to point out landmarks along the way.... very friendly and helpful. This location is in the Medical Center area of Boston, with many beautiful buildings (such as the Harvard Medical School). There are two 'T' locations near the hotel, making travel around Boston by train very convenient. The parking garage was convenient, and allowed us to pay the $18 per day discounted-rate parking through the hotel bill (versus a higher, cash-only, rate at the parking lot exit). One thing of interest was that the parking valets would park cars behind most parking spaces (fitting 3 cars into 2 parking spaces). While this wasn't a problem for us in particular, we could see that one may need to have the valet move someone's car from behind yours, plus leaving the parking garage could be a tight fit through partially blocked lanes.

Stay here only if you have to
The hotel is located in the Galleria in Longwood with access to the foodcourt. It was a convenient location if you need to be near the hospitals or research areas. The room was clean but the hotel is pretty run down. Also someone started to smoke in their room which filled the whole floor with smoke. Staff did try to find the person. It was also pretty noisy, I could hear the neighboring room pretty well. I don't recommend staying in this hotel unless you have to.

Bu student's parents
As we where in Boston to see our daughter who is a student at Boston University, the location of the hotel proved to be convenient. However, nestled as it is among a cluster of hospitals and medical schools, it is a less than quiet place to stay. In addition, by that high temperature of July, we would have appreciate a dive in a pool. Otherwise, the hotel is well upkept. I would recommend it for a short stay.
