Not Happy
I have had this room reserved for nearly two months ( King size bed in a non-smoking room). When I arrived at the check-in desk I was told that the only room available was a smoking room with two full size beds. The receptionist commented that this has happened alot lately. This was a weekend get together with my wife so we spent the night on one full sized bed. There was a problem with the comode , the water ran continuous and the comode would not flush. There was water in the floor around the comode from the leak. Management has not responded to complaint.

great after a long drive
Reserved the hotel as I got into Shreveport. They were ready for me when I arrived 30 minutes later. The room was clean, quiet, and just what I needed. Be sure to eat at Brother's Restaurant across the street. Get the fried oysters and rice and gravy. Absolutely delicious.

Great Value for the money
The staff was very friendly and informitive. For a property close to the airport, (Shreveport), they keep it pretty clean. The property was just about ready for a face lift in some common areas. The staffs friendy attitude made up for that small short coming.

Good 3 day stay.
Very good experience. The staff was very kind and courteous. The Continental Breakfast was the best Continental Breakfast that I have experienced. I visited with family and friends who were there in the city and some from out of town as I was. For the price this stay was much better than my previous lodging accommodations.

"A Dive a true Hotel Slum"
My stay at the Ramada Shreveport was horrible, it was dirty, unsanitary, bed bugs, possible fleas, pet smell and foot print on the walls, toilets were not clean, linens where not clean, pillow inside the pillow cases had yellow fluid markings, mold in the showers, furniture was dirty, soiled and torn; in fact this was the consistent condition of all fixtures and facilities throughout the hotel. In addition, the first two mornings we had to stay there we were abruptly woken by the fire alarm 6:30 AM in the morning, due to a waffle maker that was setting off the alarm. It was truly a Hotel that should be closed until brought to a standard of basic human cleanliness and safety... even with our complaints we were moved, supposed upgraded to a suite that was worst then the original room. We prepaid our stay [...],for an emergency visit for family matters (bereavement for our Father)and they were not willing to change our hotel or help. We were then forced to stay with a family member unexpectedly, until we were able to find a hotel with vacancies to accommodate us for the rest of our stay; because of the substandard conditions and unsafe perception of the facility as a whole. It was a waste of money and added more stress based on the experience. I will never stay at this Hotel chain ever again, nor recommend to my worst enemy. I have pictures to prove all my claims and tend to address this with the Corporate offices of those parties endorsing this Hotel as a viable Hotel option. We were devastated and destruat by our stay at the Ramada Shreveport and expect a refund at minimual. Thank you Holiday In Express and Suites for accommodating to allow us to make our Father's Funeral and get needed rest.

Very Bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Upon arriving at the hotel, the clerk at the front desk couldn't find our reservation. After about 20 minutes, she finally found it. The bathtub almost did not drain. You stood in 6 inch deep water while taking a shower; The caulking aroung the tub was black and probably covered with mold. They advertised a breakfast that included waffles, french toast, eggs, and much more. Beakfast is served from 6:30-10:00 a.m. The first morning was fine. Every morning after that, there was no french toast or egss. The waffle machine was still broken on our last morning there. [...] They could care less about the lack of service they were providing and acted like it was a major chore to answer any of our questions. Most of them were too busy talking on their cell phones. I don't normally write a letter like this. Usually, I just let it go, but I think the upper powers that be should be aware of what is going on there. Since I was there to meet my daughter whom I had given up for adoption 42 years ago, I couldn't really tell her what was going on at the hotel. I wanted everything to go smoothly. The neighborhood where the hotel is located is not the best of neighborhoods. These are things that people need to consider if they have small children. To sum it up, the place is kind of trashy and needs a lot of repair and I will most likely never stay there agin.

Would stay in Bossier city next time
Hotel was clean, decent price, and had great breatfast buffet with friendly staff. Only negatives were that 6-8 neighborhood kids were in the pool. While a nice gesture to them, I would have liked a peaceful 20 minute dip but with several kids running around crazy, not possible. It also gave my wife the feeling that if these non-guests had access to the facility, who else did.
