Jameson Inn Shreveport

We were there visiting family. Spare of the moment type of trip. Looked at several places online to stay and this hotel was one of a few that caught my eye. We arrived late not knowing really how to get there. I called them up and the guy that answered led me right to the hotel. very nice customer service! We will come back to stay next time we are in the area.

It is obvious the Jameson in Shreveport is cutting or eliminating all the little things that separate the better hotels. Nasty broken slivers of soap in bath, 2 towels, broken coffee maker with one packet of sugar and processed creamer.

Old, not very clean Re3quested a king, got two doubles.

There was a awful smell in the hallway on the third floor when arriving and when leaving. Not sure what it was, if it is cleaning supplies or dirty mops. The staff at the front desk was not helpful when asking for a receipt for the stay. The beds were hard as rocks, the room small and cramped. Don't even ask if the bathroom was spacious, that would be a joke.

This hotel and its staff made my stay wonderful. The only problem is the fact that there was no microwave ovens or small refrigerators in the rooms.

We travelled to the Independence Bowl in Shreveport. The hotel was convenient to the stadium at the State Fair Grounds. There were many family restaurants near the hotel, plus Walmart for everything we came without! Our dog was welcome, which made our stay great!

We had A great time staying here everything was just what I expected.

Room's were small, front desk did not have a clue what was going on charged twice for room. AC did not work, and shower was broken. Over room was dirty, would not recommend this hotel to ANYONE!!!

The Jameson Inn Shreveport was comfortable. The room had a nice desk area, an air conditioner that worked great and it was fairly quiet, considering how full the hotel was (Memorial Day weekend). I was surprised to see pets in the hallway, but they seemed well-behaved. The room was clean and showed no sign of anyone smoking or having a pet in our room. but the vent in the bathroom was falling out of the ceiling and did not work. I was concerned that they ran out of towels. When I asked for one, I was told they were in the wash and it would be a while. The first night we had 3 towels, but the next 2 nights we only had 2. Our daughter stayed with us, so we had to share towels. I went to the front desk several times to ask a question and report a problem, but no one was behind the desk or in the office. I did not feel safe. We usually stay at a hotel nearby during this annual visit, but decided to try the Jameson since our usual hotel was under construction. We will not stay there next year, since several new hotels are being built all around. I am willing to pay the extra money to have enough towels and feel safer.
