Hotel was easy to find, and was in a quiet location of town. When I booked hotel, I had apparently booked under a special "slots" deal that included free slot money for a local casino. Gentleman at front desk had to radio security to get the voucher (took almost 10 minutes). Room was adequate for needs. Seemed overpriced for what we got.

Army Geteway
I visit Shreveport, LA monthly because of the Army. The Hilton Hotel is a great place to stay. The is conveintly located in downtown Shreveport, only 5 mintues from all the famous casinos. The gumbo is "to die for." If you have never had southern soul food gumbo, this is the place to get. SIDENOTE: Dont drink the two bottles of water in the room. They are $3 each.

short notice getaway
Very good experience overall! There was a football game that night so the hotel was packed with "fans". The staff did a very good job of taking care of us despite all the people. The courtesy shuttle was fantastic! We had reserved a King room, but had to take a room with two queens or wait for an undetermined amount of time. No refund of the difference or perk was offered though.

Anniversary weekend celebration
The location of this hotel was ideal for walking to the casino without the higher week-end rates that the casino hotels charge. The room was quiet and clean; and other than the vent not working in the bathroom and the back falling off the tv during the night, I have no complaints. I would stay here again.

Great service, great price.
The hotel was great. Very good service. We were in town to hit the casinos, and the hotel had free shuttle service to and from all of them. It was great not having to worry about parking or driving. Very friendly and helpful staff, too. I will definitely be staying here again when I come back to Shreveport.

Great atmosphere
The atmosphere and the decor was great in every aspect of the hotel. The lobby, restaurant, & room made me feel like I was there for a relaxing vacation instead of a conference for work.

Hade a great cell phone reception sucked
