You get what you pay for
The room was ok. Nothing special. Either the tub in the bathroom was broken or the toilet was leaking because the floor was wet after the first night. The comforter was sticky as if there was spilled soda on it and the room has a weird odor. Tried to swim in their pool but there were caterpillars everywhere, on the trees, on the wall, and all over the gate. There were even dean ones in front of our door.

bed was very comfortable
overall it was good weather was poor but bed was very comfortable went to LSU game and couldn't wait to get back to room out of rain

basic needs
It came with a fridge and microwave. It was clean but not immaculate. The thing that made it a pleasant stay was the kind and talkative staff. GPS does not work to find it!

Super 8 HORRIBLE
Used to staying in Super 8's, and know they are not 5 stars, but are OK. This one was really bad. Checked in late, about 11:45 am. Went to set my cell phone on left hand night stand in room 135, and stepped in a pile of wetness. Smelled area, and smelled of sour water / mildew. At first thought dog pee, but smell was old damp rot. Too tired to go back to desk so went to bed. Up half the night listening to "drip...drip" so I turned on lights and investigated. 4:00 AM saw that toilet was leaking slowly in bath and running under wall to bedroom. 5:AM go to work and look at night stand - rotten bottom molding and dead bugs behind it - so problem was not new. (fully petrified moth included) so at breakfast I tell clerk story and ask for new room. She says I'll get maintenance to look at it and talk to manager. Check back with her later (sitting behind desk, reading book, feet propped up on counter 11/3/2010 @ 4:34 pm) and says maintenance will fix in am and shampoo rug while I am out. So happens I fly out at 7AM. I ask if i can move and she shes "no" - manager did not approve. Simple as that. Request to get out of wet molded room - denied. Nice. [...] Manned-up and stayed last night. The work we do during the day is too important to let me employees stay in that type of place. They move tomorrow to Comfort Inn. Not sure the desk clerks cared we had multiple rooms for 3 weeks. Good bye for good (48 States) Super 8.

The Stay
At thhotel I got some much needed rest.The room appearance was nice and the room was very cool on that hot summer night. The only thing that upset me is when it was time to take a shower the towels looked dirty. There were towels that were clean so I just assumed that housekeeping left them behind by mistake. Very convient location, close to restaurants and not that far from Wal Mart.

Louisiana visitor
Poor Value
Door lock was never fixed after staying 3 days, cigarette burns in blankets, linens not changed daily, torn carpet in rooms.

Room was filthy - rusty refrigerator, cigarette burns, cobwebs on light fixtures, grease on furniture, windows looked like they'd been cleaned with fried chicken, didn't stay, would not cooperated on refund
