Great Location

All compliments except when I opened the door, and throughout the night, the odor, and slight uncomfortable breathing sensation (in nose & throat) was noticed. The smell seemed to be a"chemical" odor, probably from insecticides or cleaning fluid. I was in room 113. The location was great. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good (and free) except the guest is charged for coffee.

Found an Antique store about 4 miles away. Very interesting. A local advised me to be very careful about low speed limits. They are very strict.,

Great location and Very comfortable

We were in town for a friend's wedding. The hotel staff was very friendly although they seemed a little overwhelmed by the number of wedding guests that kept needing attention in the restaurant/bar or otherwise. The pool was very nice, heated, and clean. The kids enjoyed it and the hot tub. We also enjoyed to workout room when the kids needed to use up some of their extra energy. We enjoyed our time here.

The Cajun Buffet at the Evangeline Downs was not the best casino buffet food, but it was great that it was open on Thanksgiving night!

weekend getaway

Nice room, friendly staff

Not what I was expecting

Staff where nice, hotel needs to seriously be updated, room smelled like smoke badly and there where stains on the sheets!
