Thin walls
The hotel was nice. The amenities were appropriate and the room was clean. The downfall was that the people in the room behind me were merely talking throughout the night and I could hear their conversation very well. It kept waking me up during the night. When traveling on business especially and needing to make sure I'm up early and ready to work, it's difficult to wake up all night because the people in the next room are talking.

Short drive from hotel
Creole Cafe in Grand Coteau was a great, home-town place to eat. Only 5-6 tables to sit at, but good food and good atmosphere.

good place to stay
We have stayed at this property several times since its opening. The staff is friendlier than the management. All the clerks we have encounteres have been friendly and helpful. When we had issues with a stopped up toilet, the manager delivered a plunger to our room and told us to leave it in the room when we were finished with it. There was no offer to help from him!
