Art Deco standout provides comfort, convenience for business travelers
The Wyndham Baronne Plaza is situated in the Historic Lower Central Business District. The Art Deco beauty still has its original granite and stone façade and the gleaming marble floors in the lobby. Great Place
Great location to everything I wanted to see. The streetcar line was one block away. The bed was really comfortable. I had to force my self out of it. I could have stayed in bed all day. Wireless Internet was FREE. Parking was $20. But I knew I would have to pay to lark because of the great location to everything. Parking was kind of tight and located in the basement of the hotel but my car seemed to be safe. I would defiantly stay at this hotel again

The street car line was nice. Buy a Jazzy Pass for $3 and you can ride all of the Street Cars. It cost $1.25 per trip. You would save a few dollars there are 4 different routes to travel.

No bugs, no breakfast, not so bad
Other than a clerk reserving an excessive amount for incidentals (quickly corrected when pointed out), not being able to provide change for large bills, having continuing nosiy construction, not offering a real restaurant for breakfast, it wasn't so bad. One block to Canal and the Quarter, two to the St. Charles street car line. Makes an OK base for exploring the city.

Had fun in NOLA
Fun time in NOLA
Hotel is very clean and nice on the inside. Not far from Canal St. and just a few blocks from Bourbon street. The only thing I would say I was a little turned off by is a musty smell I noticed in the room but it wasn't strong and the other hotel rooms I visited in NOLA while I was there had the same smell. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great Hotel!!
This is a great place to get a way for a nice cozy weekend with your significant other. The staff was extremely nice and very helpful. The hotel is close enough to the Bourbon Street Action but a few blocks away to get some piece and quite. The architecture is crazy. Great room designs along with a great maid staff. The only downfall is there is no swimming pool! So if your looking for a place to take a dive, this aint it! But if you are a true party animal on a budget, this is the place for you!

Baronne Plaza Hotel a mixed bag
The hotel staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and the hotel was situated perfectly between the chaos of the French Quarter, and the hip nightlife of the Magazine district. The only issues were concerning the room itself, which was roomy, but lacked any ventilation and all bedding was down. As someone with allergies, the forced a/c and down bedding ultimately interfered with the appreciation of the trip. By the third night my allergies were pretty bad and I found myself wanting to avoid my hotel room.

Carmo on Julia St. (between Camp and Magazine) is open for lunch only and is a short walk from the hotel. The atmosphere and food were outstanding.

perfect location hotel
great food awesome getaway place. Bourbon St was perfect. Harrahs very nice and the hotel was in perfect location for everything. Hotel staff at front desk was awesome, just need to communicate to room service on check out times. Had requested a lat check outfor 1pm and between 10:30 and 12:15 had 3 different people come by to see when we were checking out.

Couple'd UP
My boyrfriend and I stay here was mainly to have quality time together. While we were here we had dinner at Cafe Giovanni... The food there was delicious!The only that was a refrigerator, but I completely understand why there wasnt any in theroom already.

Excellent
Room was clean, comfortable, and fashionable. High quality shampoo, soap, etc (bath and body works brand). Small room but had lots of storage, so it worked out fine. People at the front desk were super friendly and helpful. Great location! We'll definitely stay here again. Only complaint is the our room did not have a window to the outside, just the interior of the hotel. They let guests use the pool at a sister hotel, which was great :)

pleasant stay
Good location, only 2-3 blocks to Bourbon Street and 1 to public transportation. Rooms were very clean and quiet. Small cafe and sushi restaurant attached, which was convenient. Wish the rooms had a fridge and maybe a breakfast included. Housekeeping could have been better with stocking towels and toiletries, but were pleasant.
