W New Orleans

I stayed at this hotel for a conference and enjoyed my stay. No major complaints and the staff were very hospitable and friendly. Great location to Harrah's, walking distance to French quarter, Bourbon street and its craziness as well as the convention center/riverwalk. Would stay here again. There's an Acura shuttle program which I didn't take advantage of this time.

the main thing that stands out about the W New Orleans is the staff. friendly, fast, courteous, and just down right good people. they hold nothing back when it comes to catering to the visitor. the second thing is the location of this hotel by far is one of the best in new orleans, short walk (5-10 mins) will get you to all downtown attractions

I had a Great time from the moment we drove up untile the time we left. The staff was very nice and meet our every need. We will be back!

The room was nice although overstocked with very expensive bottled water, snacks and alcohol - it was unnecessary because you're located in the heart of everything. It is worth mentioning that the staff is fantastic - they were extremely helpful with the suggestions and very polite.

We wanted a romantic weekend getaway, but not your typical long weekend at the beach doing absolutely nothing. New Orleans has always been a favorite spot of my fiance, so we decided to venture here for some fantastic music, great food and fun. We stayed at the W New Orleans. The receptionists were very helpful and there was fresh fruit infused water offered upon arrival. We used the Acura car service that the hotel offers to take us to our dinner reservation spots and evening entertainment venues. The driver recommended a restaurant to us that turned out to be one of our best meals during our stay! The room was nicely furnished but was not as clean as it could have been (our bed did not have fitted sheets so we kept having to pull them over the mattress that did not have a mattress pad, the grout in the bathroom was dirty and we were given dirty towels one day). The WiFi did not work in our room and the only help offered was giving us a number to call a technician. We did not want to waste all of our vacation time getting IT help, so we opted not to use the WiFi that was listed as an amenity. We would have liked there to have been a fitted sheet on the bed and someone to be more proactive about fixing the wireless in our room so we could use our devices. However, because of the awesome hotel location, we were able to have a great stay. We went to New Orleans to eat, drink and be merry, experience Southern culture and take in a slower pace of life....all things we accomplished during our long weekend.

everything was satisfactory until I returned to find that housekeeping did not clean my room

Location was great, you could walk almost anywhere you wanted to go. Workers in the hotel were very friendly and the rooms were very clean. They obviously aren't the newest rooms, but are clean and very nicely decorated.

The hotel was clean and the staff was really great. Very modern decor. I was surprised that the hotel did not have free wi-fi in the rooms. Also, the drinks were very expensive, especially considering the average drink prices for New Orleans. The Acura service was a really helpful and unexpected perk. The pool was also very nice and well-kept. The location was nice for children because it is in walking distance of the Children's Museum, the Aquarium, and the Insectarium. It is also away from all of the craziness of the French Quarter.

Good place to stay if you are in town for a bachelor party and want to hit the FQ. Hotel gave us no problems.

Excellent location. Good atmosphere. Whiskey Bar somewhat expensive. Good workout area. Small pool. Plumbing a problem (2nd time!).
