Small hotel with old-world charm near French Quarter, business district
The Pelham Hotel offers a grand scale of personal service and attention to detail in an intimate boutique setting reminiscent of old world European grace. The petite hotel that is brimming with old-world charm and hospitality is located between the New Orleans downtown business district and the French Quarter, and is situated within a stone's throw to Harrahs Casino, Riverwalk and The Warehouse District. A stately lobby greets guests with marble floor, Persian rug and leather couch. The 60 guest rooms are decorated in classic European style with four-poster beds and thick drapes. The location's history dates back to 1719 when Jean Baptist Lemoyne de Bienville, the founder of New Orleans, was granted a plantation on this spot.

great hotel

great hotel that had the perfect price and location. rooms are average but main thing is that they were clean. you dont go to new orleans to sleep all the time anyways. walls are a little thin which sucked on one particular night but thats the luck of the draw. staff are all friendly and helpful when asking for directions or recommendations. also great breakfast place right next door with the best bartender.

Great location but small room for 4 persons

Great location in the heart of NOLA, near Canal street and walking distance from French Quarter. Room too small for party of 4.

St Patty's Day

I only have two positive comments, location is good and it's clean. Our room was the closet for the room next door, or it seemed like it. The walls were taller than the room was long or wide. Outside parking means a city pay lot or you can opt for the $30 per day valet. Neither of which was revealed until check-in. Factor that in and there are much more comfortable places to stay with free parking.

Great place!

We were looking to be close to all the action and this hotel was perfect. 10 min walk to bourbon street. Tall ceilings, clean rooms, and a neat place overall. Would recommend.

Great location, cute place

The front desk staff were very pleasant and welcoming! The hotel was modest, only 4 floors but rooms had high ceilings and a vintage feel. Right downstairs is the Ruby Slipper--a nice breakfast/brunch place. Location was great because it was far enough away from the crazies but everything was walking distance. The House of Blues is literally down the street across Canal St which was perfect for our trip. Overall, it was easy to find yourself back after a night on Bourbon St.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

If you want a nice Hookah bar and cheap drinks/Mediterranean food, I recommend Attiki bar (I think it's called) it's right across the street from House of Blues, which is just across Canal St from the hotel. :)

Great Rooms

Nice, clean rooms, windows well insulated which did not let in any noice from street. Bourbon Street just a few foodsteps away, nice staff at reception. Breakfast restaurant at ground floor. Would stay there another time!!!
