Great family visit
My experience at the hotel was great overall. The service is what made it enjoyable. I travel with my son all the time so it is important that the hotel possess children-friendly attributes. The staff here were great with accomadting any needs. I had a few issues with my first room but the staff gladly switched me to another room. Parking was $30 a night, though.

The room was very small hence small room so make sure you booked the appropriate size. Too many items offered at ridicoulous costs especially with a gas station across the street with the same things for much less-overall the experience was fine

Great hotel, great location
Wonderfully comfortable hotel designed on the modern concept - few amenities, small lobby, simple decorations, and good price. Room small, but very comfortable. No coffee, but plenty of snacks and drinks, if you want to pay extra. Located next to WWII Museum and street car outside that can take you down scenic St. Charles St. or directly to Bourbon St.

Good vaule, but
A great value with great staff, next to WWII museum and public transportation. But be aware of a couple of surprises - no coffe pot in room, no coffee downstairs, and almost $50/night for parking!

the Hotl Mondern horrbile getaway
The room colors were very loud, the hall were a red orgage. There was no ice machine nd the staff was rude. My back is still sour from the bed. I would not recomend this hotel when staying in New Orleans there are alot of hotels in the city and this was a horrible stay.

New Orleans Saints 30 - Chicago Bears 13
I was in town for the Saints/Bears game (Who Dat!) for one Saturday night and I enjoyed my stay. I've read a few comments in regards to parking so I wanted to address that first. There is a pay lot behind the hotel and it costs about $20.00 a day. Not bad considering that you can get towed if you park on the street. There is free parking close to the hotel but check with the staff. They can advise you better. The staff was pretty cool and helpful. They were attentive and professional. I thought the location was great. About a 10 minute walk to the French Quarter, maybe a 10 minute walk to the Superdome. The National WWII Museum is right there. There is a nice convenience store across the street. And the streetcars can get you to a lot of points of interest. The room was comfortable and clean, definitely big enough for two even though I was by myself. The hotel is under renovation. The staff told me that it would be completed before the end of the year. The biggest issue I had were the lights outside the building. There was a row of lights right below my window. I woke up a few times thinking it it dawn, then the room would change to another color. But in retrospect I think it was funny. I didn't lose any sleep over it. All and all, a fun and great place. I would stay there again without hesitation.
