Located just one block from the historic French Quarter, the Cotton Exchange Hotel's decor pays tribute to the colorful palettes created by Degas and his fellow Impressionists. In addition to high ceilings and large windows which allow for vast amounts of natural light, all 223 rooms are decorated in vibrant colors, and the walls are hung with reproductions of Impressionist paintings.

Valet parking is $30 + tax per night per vehicle. A valid credit card is required for payment for valet. Cash is not accepted.Cotton Exchange Hotel does not accept pets.

Great Location, close to the French Market

A hidden jewel just two blocks from Bourbon Street. Staff was very friendly and attentive. It's an older hotel, but well-maintained. Everything worked, including the free wi-fi. The free breakfast was huge with cold and hot foods. The price was wonderful when compared to area hotels. I would go there again.

Perfect location, Good rooms

The hotel is located a block and a half from Bourbon Street - close enough to crawl back to your room, no need to even try to stand up and stumble back! Besides the great location, the rooms are quite nicely appointed with comfortable, classically stylish furnishings. The vaulted ceilings and large, tall windows add to the historical antebellum architecture of the hotel. A couple of drawbacks, hotel bar patrons will tend to illegally park in the guest unloading zone; the valet parking is a bit on the high side; and the pool is very small. Overall, a very nice, comfortable hotel that is more than adequate for a trip to New Orleans.
