This is a secret that won't last long.....
Perfect location, 2 blocks from Bourbon St. in the French Quarter. Our room was ADORABLE. Everything brand new restored to the studs it looked to us. New floors, walls, furniture. The coolest layout with a sitting room. I believe it is in the "Gay District", and so much fun! My husband and I felt completely safe and had the best hotel of our group of 8 we traveled with. The front desk folks really seemed like they didn't want any interruptions from guests checking in, but the hotel itself is just a little gem. A HUGE comfortable king bed with new bedding. Such a good time. We will definitely be here again.

Great place! Renovated!
We took a chance on this place as we wanted an inexpensive last minute place to stay within the quarter. Reading reviews, about 1 in 5 were bad, but we took a chance anyway, as the rate was very compelling. I'm not sure what the people that gave the bad reviews were talking about. The place was great. Newly refurbished (maybe they stayed there prior to the remodel). The room was entirely brand new inside. Bathroom too. It was two blocks off the center of Bourbon, so the location was perfect. There was a nice, small courtyard to sit in, with resident cat Oliver. Would definitely stay at the St. Peter House Hotel again.

Home away from home
This is my second time to stay at this hotel. I absolutely love it! Its not a big, huge, fancy corporate hotel with people constantly in and out. It's waking distance from Bourbon and kind of tucked away out of the way of all the tourist and drunks. The hotel staff is so friendly and helpful and the lady that runs the place actually remembered me when I stayed for the first time almost 8months ago. As long as I visit New Orleans I'm staying at St. Peters!

Just Far Enough
Our room was newly remodeled, small but quaint. Breakfast was mediocre, had to search for it, but we weren't in the quarter for breakfast most of the time. The staff was friendly and took care of concerns. They do need coffee pots in the rooms, we were teased with coffee packets a pot and no machine to make it!!!! The location was perfect, a couple blocks from Bourbon street and we didn't suffer from the noise of Bourbon Street when we decided to retire. We were so thrilled with our visit, that we will return every year, and we wouldn't mind staying at the same quaint hotel.

NOLA Love Bitten
Perfect little escape
We had never been to NOLA before and this was the perfect little quaint hotel in the French Quarter where we could walk anywhere but was far enough away from the noise of Bourbon Street. We could easily hop back for naps in the afternoon or to drop off goodies we purchased from the French Market and get a quiet good night's sleep after a lot of fabulous music on Frenchmen Street. I could not ask for a more perfect location that was clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished like a home, not a hotel room. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, but really, go out and get yourself some true NOLA food, you shouldn't be eating at your hotel anyways!

Don't eat on Bourbon Street, everything off the street is by far superior and if you have any doubts, ask anyone... everyone is so friendly and would definitely be able to point you somewhere good.

Great place to stay for the 2012 NCAA championship !
We stayed in the Annex on St. Ann's St. The housekeeper and staff were overly helpful and friendly. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Loved the Courtyard. Convenient to Bourebon Street and the French Market. Plan to return for a longer stay.

Awesome location
The St. Peter, the Creole House, and the Marie LaVeau House are all basically the same hotel, just in three different buildings all within a couple of blocks. You may reserve for one, but you might end up actually getting a room in another. I booked with Creole House and ended up in LaVeau. Another time I booked with St. Peter and stayed in Creole House. The rooms are fabulous. 12 ft ceilings. Super location. Close to everything but quiet nonetheless. The beds are huge and very comfortable. Late night, it can be difficult to reach hotel staff. The breakfast is not much to brag about. However, its' so nice to be able to just step out your door and be alking down the quaint streets of the French Quarter that I'd definitely stay again.
