A good place to stay
The hotel is conveniently located if the French Quarter is going to be one's center of sight seeing. The rooms are clean and the art deco interiors are well done. Not a spectacular place by any means. It met the needs of someone who was out and about all day. Do not expect any thing more than an arrangement of pastries and hot beverages as far as the complimentary breakfast. I could not find drinking water anywhere in the breakfast area. I had an issue with the shower not dispensing hot water. It took two complaints at the front desk, and was fixed on my third morning.

Check out Napoleon House right next door. You can pretty much stalk the place to find out when the lines are not long, and afford to stay there very late.

Fantastic French Quarter location
Have made many trips to New Orleans, all for weekend getaways or to attend certain music festivals that N.O. have. First time in this hotel. Very enjoyable experience. Very quaint, small hotel. Rooms are small but updated and clean. This the best way to enjoy the French Quarter. We lived in N.O. many years ago and continue to come back. Only to minor negatives. Still no elevator, but not really a problem. No bath tub (wife loves her bath tub) and no provision for parking by the hotel; you have to find your own. There is Central Parking Co. lot next door where you can park overnight for $35 if a place is available. The location cannot be beaten. Two blocks from Jackson Square. We loved it.

An excellent two night stay
Very charming hotel in excellent location in French Quarter. Within walking distance of all FQ attractions. Very friendly, helpful staff and great value but a small room for two adults. No real amenities outside of a continental breakfast (better hurry before its gone) and a small pool that went unused during my stay.

Football trip
This hotel is pretty basic but was just what we needed. The location is absolutely perfect for the French Quarter and everyone on the staff was very nice and helpful. The room was perfect for us but the bathroom was a little small. The only drawback was how thin the walls were but we adjusted. Given the price and location we would stay there again.

great hotel , perfect location
It looks like they just modernized this beautiful historic building, low key but elegant. The location can't be beat, right in the middle of the quarter but far enough away from the chaos of burbon st. Everything was for the most part perfect except no mini bar. Very helpfulfriendly staff ...a real charmer...would happily stay again

great location
Except for a raised area in the floor (which I tripped over a number of times) this is a good hotel. if you're coming to New Orleans as a tourist, stay here!

Family get together
No elevator and we requested the first floor and were told we would get it and we didn't. Air conditioner made a loud buzzing noise (all night). No decaf coffee. Not enough chairs in the court yard.

Room 205 Nice but small
Stayed for one night and the location is great. Room was very clean and bright. The in room safe was on the floor of the closet which required you to lay on the floor to access it. It would make more sense to mount it on the shelf of the closet. The staff was very friendly. parking is very high at $35 but it is the French Quarter.
