Great location for parades

Location was great for parade watching, dining and events. Staff was generally helpful and willing to provide information. Our room was right next to the elevator and it ran non-stop, we should have requested to move because we didn't get much rest.

Our stay was a wonderful experience...the only problem we had was the noise levels in the hallways...just unsual in such a place as the Sheraton...The staff was friendly, extended their knowledge of the area - really made our experience great...Will be back soon...

BCS LSU BAMA GAME

Although the hotel was very convenient to the Quarter and the Dome. Valet was full. They gave my husband a map and sent him to park the car in a garage 10 blocks away. When he finally got there with traffic, he was told that garage was full and he was on his own to find parking!! Not good at all!!! Room very bland with spill spots all over in the carpet. TV had very bad picture, and AC was not working properly! Wouldn't stay there again!

Great base for the whole city

The Sheraton is easy walking distance from the French Quarter, the river, and the Superdome. River views from the club floors are beautiful. Room service is surprisingly good. Concierges were very friendly and helpful. However, breakfast hours in the club lounge are unreasonably short and early given the proximity to Bourbon Street (late nights likely!). Additionally, our bartender was pretty rude (the bar across the street at the Marriott is much better for both menu and sportswatching).

No hot water!

The second night of my stay the hotel shut off the hot water. And then ALL water to my room. They had bottled water at the bell stand, 35 FLOORS DOWN! Really? Also, I got some attitude from the woman in the business center. Isn't that normally a free amenity? The location is great, my view was awesome, but the issues above, and the $6 pint of Abita in the bar were turn offs for the price I paid.

Sugar Bowl trip

The hotel is perfectly located for get to all the French Quater has to offer - great dinning, Bourbon St, etc. The staff was very helpful and effcient. They were dealling with a large influx of people for the Sugar Bowl, but even thou we arrived early (9:30 AM) we were given access to our room right away. The room was comfortable and we had good views of the city. I would stay there again.
