Royal Sonesta New Orleans
we had some problems with the room, problems like the internet did not work in our room, the tub was cloged had to have it fixed, the mini bar had mold. also one of the lamps in the room didnt work, and no refigerator!. but the room was nice but small. we had a bacony off bourbon st. rooms dont look like the ones online, not as nice.

Awesome location, historic hotel.
Great hotel. Awesome location. Phenomenal staff. One issue. I unfortunately could not choose two double beds instead of one queen on Orbitz. I called the hotel to ask for the double beds after booking. They said they could not guarantee it and that it would be based on availability. I called again two days before arriving and they said they had plenty of doubles. When I showed up they said they did not have any, however they gave me a free extra cot/roll away.

Great Experience
Went to the cigar convention. Couldn't have asked for a better location than the Royal Sonesta for access directly on to Bourbon Street. Courteous, professional staff. The only challenge was having a smoking room with no ashtrays. Very charming interiors. Rooms for a single are a bit small, but not uncomfortable.

great hotel, great location
we were in New Orleans for Halloween. This is something you should not miss. The hotel was great and the food and street intertainment was unbelivable.

Excellent Choice in N'awlins!
First trip to NO. Would stay at Royal Sonesta again. The staff was warm and friendly and helpful. All touring and dining suggestions were top-notch and on the mark. Especially enjoyed half-day city tour with Oswald of Celebration tours. He was so knowledgeable and informative and justifiably proud of his city! Look forward to returning to NO....so much to do, so little time!

Great location, wonderful ambiente
Booked online through [...]; everything went smoothly at check-in; hotel lobby is very grand, appealing, clean, and has a friendly atmosphere; room was large enough for two people, very well taken care of (no rips in wallpaper, cracks in ceiling, smudges on carpet, etc.), extremely clean with rather comfortable beds; room was always ready when we came back in the afternoon to rest; staff was quite courteous and helpful and gave informed answers to our questions. Two things, however, we did not like as much: the toilet flushed very noisily and the computer use in the business office is clearly overpriced (we believe that a hotel of this class ought to offer free internet use to its guests). We will certainly recommend the Royal Sonesta to our friends and acquaintances warmly.

Wonderful location
A beautiful interior with wonderful courtyard. The staff was courteous and very helpful. I could not find even one complaint, even if I try.
