Wonderful holidays!

My Thanksgiving holidays turned out better than I imagined. The location of the hotel is just wonderful. A walking distance from all sights that we wanted to see during our short stay. The rooms are very clean, the beds are super comfortable! The staff - polite and welcoming. The breakfast kept us full for a long time. We are very happy to have chosen this hotel!

Queen and Crescent Hotel

Excellent location and decent price. The only complaint I would have is A/C and central plan heating. If you left it running in the night (partly necessary due to a street noise), you woke up totally congested.

Ok stay

It was an ok stay, not really bad, but needs several improvements. The first thing was when tried to enter the room I guess they laid new capers and it was really hard to open the door, either way. It would not have been good for an elderly couple, it was really hard to open and close, second one of the faucets in the bathroom was clogged, we had some one come and unclogged it. One time they didn't clean our room and the beds were not very comfortable. Over all it was just to spend the night. Not sure if I would stay there again.

Great place to get away

Great place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the best location ever. Close to everything including the streetcar. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the breakfast every morning. We would definitely stay there again because this is our third stay already, and it's been a good stay every time.

Excellent location!

Located three short blocks from Canal Street, the location was perfect for getting around town. The room was large and very comfortable, but the maid service was sketchy and you had to ask for the shampoos etc every day to receive them. The free breakfast was adequate and saved money. It was well used. The television barely worked and only got about three stations. If money were an issue, I would possible stay there again.

OK for the price

If you don't need amenities or a modern style bed than this place is ok. Considering the price and the fact that you should be spending your time outside the hotel, this is worth it. However if you like nice things, skip this place. Also front desk staff seem like they would rather be someplace else. Phones in the room did not work too well. Close to a lot of places, Mother's down the street. French Quarter 2 minute walk, Convention Center = 5 min walk.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Super close walk to both the convention center & the french quarter. This area is in CBD so you don't get the drunk rowdy crowd keeping you awake at night.
