I'd definitely stay here again

We mostly slept and kept our stuff there. We didn't spend too much time in the room but the time we spent was relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable.

Best Staff Ever!!

This hotel was very cozy and the staff was great. From the moment I walked in the staff was so helpful and they made you feel very comfortable. The moment I checked in my friend asked about Po'Boys and they really thought about it, got us the directions, and yes it was the best po-boy ever. We had to take the trolley and got to experience something other than the French Qtr. We were so happy, I think it was called Parkway Tavern, a must if you want to feel like a local. As for the hotel, it was clean, and the rooms were very french quarter with vaulted ceilings, a nice refurbished bathroom and the typical Fr. quarter "roof top view". But as a single female I felt at home and safe and everything was SO close! Nothing like walking to the corner, 100M, and getting a Daquari at midnight. Nice french quarter hotel if you like the smaller hotel feel.

Fantastic weekend get away

The hotel was in the perfect location, just down the street from Bourbon St and within walking distance to most locations we wanted to see. The Hotel was very clean and cozy. We walked to Jackson Square, cafe Dumon, French market, the famous ACME Oyster house. Had a great dinner our last night at a small quaint Italian restaurant named "Irene's" that provided a great atmosphere and food. We will definitely stay at the Prince Conti Hotel when we return.

AvoidNoisy Room on 2nd Floor Near Street

The room was next to the street and very noisy. Could also easily hear anyone in the hallway. If you plan on sleeping, ask for a quite room, if that's possible.

Very nice location

Just in the middle of french quarter, one can just step out of the hotel to see the people in the Bourbon Street partying. 2-3 blocks away from the river, cafe du monde, charch etc....Great price for such a location...we loved it...

great location for the price

The Prince Conti Hotel is a great value for New Orleans. In the French Quarter, around the corner from Bourbon Street. Although not a full service hotel, the rooms were large and quiet. The hotel is older but well maintained.

nice location in French Quarter

this was very comfortable with an excellent restaurant located there, the Bombay Club. It is only a half block off Bourbon St and we were woken up at 3 AM one night and 4:30 AM the next due to noise so that is the only drawback we noted.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

A number of very fine restaurants within short walking distance. Try Two Sisters and also go to the Jackson Brewery on Decatur for the catfish.

Great sleep for the money right off Bourbon street

Pros- right off of Bourbon street, elegant old world style, friendly service. Good value for the money. Cons- would have liked a refrig and microwave in the room. No amenities such as pool, internet, lounge etc. The restaurant was closed for remodeling.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

Sugar shack was a nice place to watch football. Oceania had great seafood, just down the block. Avoid the De Ja Vu just accross the street. It was a smoky, greasy dive which did not have many items in stock.

Very pleased

The Prince Conti (pronounced con-TIE) is in a great location -- just a block off Bourbon Street. It's an easy walk to all of the action and dozens of outstanding restaurants, but is far enough away that you don't hear the late-night revelry. We stayed twice in a 12-day period. The first room was smaller than the second, but both were nicely furnished. The only problem we encountered was on the first stay, when the only elevator went out of service for about 12 hours. The staff was very efficient and helped us line up two tours, each of which picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel. I would stay at the Prince Conti again.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

For fine dining, Arnaud's and GW Fin are within two blocks; both were outstanding. Across the street from the hotel is a tiny German restaurant. Good food - reasonably priced. About a three-block walk is Deanie's, a family-style restaurant with very good food, especially their salads.

Great Location

The Prince Conti Hotel, Is a nice, clean, quiet Hotel. The location, less than a block from Burbon St., is excellent. Clean, cozy and nicely decorated.. My only complaint was with the desk clerks and parking attendents.. Not very people friendly and somewhat standoffish. Never did smile. However, I would stay here again and they did not ruin my visit..
