Great location Good value Helpful staff
Location, location, location, and a neat, clean, friendly hotel too. The continental breakfast was limited but still appreciated in a downtown hotel. 1/2 block from Bourbon St. could be noisy but we were on the back side of the hotel and it was very quiet. $28 a day for parking seems high but in a city where you pay $10 for 3 hours in a lot it is a bargain. Reserve parking ahead during busy seasons or weekends.

Short walk from hotel
About 5 blocks away in the French Quarter is the Lafitte National Park French Quarter site. At 9:30 each morning they give a FREE quided walking tour which is a great cultural, architectural, and geographical orientation to the area. Your entire party must be there at 9:00 to get tour passes. The site also has clean rest rooms that can be used while wandering in the French Quarter.

Great location Good Deal
Nice and easy drive in for covered parking while checking in. Great location to French Quarter. Nice, quiet, clean, comfortable rooms. The $25 per night (plus tip) parking charge seems high, but car was off the street. Attached Bombay bar is a classy place to eat and drink. Good experience.

This may be available inside the hotel, but take the Katrina Tour > see the damage and the improvements. The WWII Museum is a MUST SEE > very well laid out, inexpensive and good. You will need a taxi or drive to the WWII Museum, but go see it. They are completing a second HUGE building, adding more displays > it is to be finished by end of 2009.

Good Price, Good Location
Great price for location in the middle of the French Quarter. Rooms were clean and nice. Walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors but we use a fan at night so we slept well. They even let us check in 2 hours early since we were arriving from the cruise ship. They had a continental breakfast which was a welcome surprise and was not advertised in my booking.

Good Location
I stayed at the Prince Conti Hotel while visiting my daughter at school in New Orleans. The place was clean with a breakfast buffet that was sufficient for a quick breakfast. There are plenty of other places within a quick walk. I liked that it was right in the French Quarter and easy to get to everything. Rooms were very clean. Not a bad place for the price.

Great hotel!!!
Overall, the experience was GREAT!!!! I would definitely stay here again! Our only problem was that someone messed up the reservation (we were supposed to have 2 rooms, for 2 couples) and either the hotel or orbitz messed up the reservation & couldn't find our 2nd room.

what is really hidden in New Orleans
the hotel staff had zero personality and to discover that the car we had rented would cost us $30.00 a day to park in the hotel area was a shock as we weren't told of that little detail in advance

Review of Prince Conti Hotel
We got stuck in a room close to the ice maker - very noisy! Also could hear music from nearby bar and people in next room! It's New Orleans - the town doesn't sleep! If you go there anywhere in New Orleans for rest- you're missing out!

An experiance
The staff was wonderful, but the rooms were not like what was pictured. I was sincerly disappointed with the hotel itself. The bombay bar was very nice, the bartender was friendly and helped us find other places to go hang out. The drinks were overpriced though.
