Excellent couple getaway

All of the hotel staff were very professional and helpful. The front desk clerk, Ava, was a particular favorite with her friendly smile and greeting anytime we passed through the lobby ~ making us feel welcome and appreciated. The room was very nice, beautifully decorated and very clean. We could not have asked for better service and we plan to return!

Perfect for a French Quarter visit

We were very pleased with our two rooms during a recent one night trip to N.O. The location is perfect, and easy to get to. Valet parking is convenient ($30/all day/night). Classic decor, clean, attentive staff, and quiet.

I'd book again

Valet parking is $28 a night plus $3 tax. When you exit the hotel you walk 1/2 a block to the heart of Bourbon Street. Getting to the hotel from the highway is a snap, and getting out is a breeze as well. Everything about this place was easy going and zero problems. When something came up and I had to check out a night early, they comped my parking. They didn't refund my room, but of course I wouldn't expect them to. They are fully staffed 24/7. I arrived to check in at 12:30am and there was no delay. A nice place to sleep if you plan on spending as little time in the hotel as possible. It was perfect for my needs.

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

Walk to the Harrah's Casino down Canal and eat at Dracos. Expect to spend about $100 per person, but they are known for their oysters. I am not too fond of oysters, but theirs are not to be missed. Order the dozen as an appetizer. You're welcome. ;)

Another adventure

The staff was great, really helpful with directions. Room was noisy and there was mold in the bathroom shower, quite disguisting. The bathroom had an awful odor that filled the room if you left the bathroom door open. The carpet in the room was filthy, it really should be cleaned or replaced. Some towels and sheets had holes in them - time to replace? In-room safe was a nice comfort. The location was great, we didn't want to rent a car and everything was within walking distance, the cable cars were perfect transportation.

Birthday celebration

the staff and location were great but the room smelled bad, the desk chair was stained, lamp shades with holes and bathroom sink drained slow. The location was great right in the middle of bourbon walkable to tourist sites but I would never stay there again. It definently motivated me to go out and sight see and party bc the last thing I wanted to do was stay longer in the room. Oh and only 1 ice machine/ vending machine on the 2 nd floor and extremely slow elevator.

Nicely surprised

It was everything that we expected and more. A great location to all the fun in town. Use your head and print out a map to get to this destination without issue. We will plan to stay again next time that we are in town.

New Orleans gem

Lovely hotel in a convenient location, right near Bourbon St., but street noise inside our room was at a minimum. We did hear more noise emanating from neighboring rooms, but that is our only complaint.

New Years Visit

We stayed at this hotel for the New Years weekend and it could not have been a better experience. The location is prime (1/2 a block from the middle of Bourbon St) and they had valet parking at the hotel. The staff was just wonderful. The hotel is old (like everything in the French Quarters) but the rooms were modern and clean, Maid service was great and it was quiet considering all the noise going on up the street. The price per nice was very reasonable for the location. Would stay there again any day
