Convenient location and modern amenities in a budget hotel
This simple, modern hotel is convenient to the financial and legal offices in the Central Business District and steps from the French Quarter, the Ernest N. Definitely would stay again.
My stay couldn't have been better. The staff was very helpful, the room was clean with new beds, carpets, TV and lighting. The A/C was very comfortable even though the temp changed outside quite a bit. I guess I benefited from the remodeled and updated rooms - the hallways were clean with new carpet and paint. You can't beat the location and the value. It definitely is a great place to stay right on the St. Charles street car line and the parade route. Terrific restaurants busy with locals within a block and downstairs. I'll be back.

Go to John Besh's restaurant, Luke, within 1/2 block. The food is inventive and local with 1/2 price Happy Hour every day.

Parc St Charles
Way over priced for the room. The bthroom was not very clean and the carpeting was very dirty. The location was great but it needs work.

Nice place to stay
Nice place to stay, not as bad a walk to the French Quarter as I thought it would be. The only issue that I have with the hotel is thay have no parking so you have to pay for overnight valet parking. Overall it was a nice hotel.

Location, Location, Location
This was perfect only 4 blocks from Bourbon Street, 6 blocks from the convention center and 5 blocks from Harrah's Casino. It was clean in the rooms and quiet. They are doing some renovations and the halls are not great; but, hey who spends time in the halls? I will stay here again when I am in town and will recommend it for the location and price.

Older place, good staff...
Reserved and paid for a King, got a Queen hide a bed...Hotel in serious need of re-modeling, wall paper peeling off wall's, cigarette burns around sink, carpet stained. Friendly and helpful staff. Beware, they do not take American Express.

Blues and Bar-B-Que and all-around good times
Although the carpet, comforters, TV, curtains and showerhead were old and out-dated the bed was comfortable and the A/C was cold. We were within walking distance of all the bars, shopping and the concert we attended. The Blues and Bar-B-Que festival was awesome and it was within the same block as the hotel.

This hotel was just fine. Service was good, and rooms were generally clean. The carpets were old and dirty, but that's about it. Great location and good price.
