Great location, great atmosphere
It's a beautiful hotel reflecting the gorgeous architectural qualities of NOLA. The staff were really pleasant and courteous. We didn't encounter any issues, nor did we have any special requests so it's difficult to judge exactly how good the staff were, but I certainly didn't have any complaints. The room was a little on the small side, but it wasn't anything that was devastating. The shower was AMAZING, the TV was a little on the old side. The upper terrace area gives you a really great view of the city which is stepped up further with the observatory deck. Definitely worth a visit if you want to take some beautiful scenic shots of the city. Also a great place to just relax after a long day of touring.

Don't bother with the Emeril restaurants. I know he is a native but his restaurants are awful, and the trend continues in NOLA. Great service, but terrible food.

Great old hotel, but showing it's age
Beautiful historic hotel, but some problems with plumbing and the rooms are not modern at all. However, they knocked 100 off of the bill for everyone in the hotel for the day the plumbing was messed up. Location simply couldn't be better.

Very nice place
Wir had the premium King room with a view. The room was equipped with a comfortable lounge chair and a reading lamp. It was a perfect place to read the morning paper and have a cup of coffee. Nice start for the day. The distance to the French Quarter was perfect, one block away. The hotel was quiet and overall wir had an enjoyable stay in N.O.
