Needs Help
Location was Excellent but.. Expected much much more from an Omni plus we're Gold Card Memebers as well and the Desk Staff was oblivious! We had to tell them everything re: morning drink selection, paper delivery of choice... etc. Were not friendly. Thought we were courteous despite all this? For an Omni, ice machines only on 3 floors? Could only buy soda in the bar? No drink machines. Our maid was great. Room very clean, well stocked with towels, shampoo, etc. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. One block from Bourbon and Royal, 2 from Harrahs, about 5-6 from the SuperDome. Would not stay here again though. Dress It, the Burger Bar is a MUST !!!

Short walk from hotel
As said before Dress It Burger Bar for something quick. The wait for the Gourmet Burger is worth it. And don't go to the BIG Named places in NOLA... Try the hole in the wall places featuring bowls of gumbo, red beans and rice, gator bites, oysters, etc. while your there. That's how you experience NOLA!

Best Place
I stay there every time I am New Orleans which is often. The location is the best. One block from the French Quarter but far enough to not be distracted by all the noise when you are ready to retire for the evening. The staff is the friendliest I have ever had the pleasure of meeting of any Hotel I have stayed in. The value is great also. You have easy access to the Quarter without the very high prices of the Quarter.

Excellent location, value and service!
The service was great, there was always someone available and happy to help. The room had a good vibe and was very nice and clean. Location was great with only a short walk to the French Quarters and Bourbon Street at night. Only downside was the charge to use wi-fi in our room but it was free in the lobby anyway. We will stay there again if we are ever lucky enough to come back to New Orleans

For genuine New Orleans Jazz and great atmosphere and service, Fritzel's on Bourbon Street was fantastic! We only had to buy a drink with no cover charge and the band was interactive and entertaining.

Another Great Experience
I discovered this Hotel for the first time about 3 months ago. I have now been back 5 times. it has a perfect location enabling one to be close to everything, but more importantly the service staff is a pure joy. It is hard to find great service anywhere these days, but they are a throw back in time to when the customer really mattered. In all my travels this has become my favorite place.

Great Location at a Great Price!
The hotel was easy to get to. It was within walking distance to Harrah's Casino but just far enough away from the French Quarter to miss all of the French Quarter noise. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and given all necessary information regarding our room and all services the hotel had to offer. The room was GREAT!! Comfy bed...just a welcoming room altogether. Check out just as easy as checking in. I will definitely be back!

Disappointed
The hotel was very convenient to anywhere you wanted to go in downtown New Orleans. It was clean and comfortable. Major complaint was noise level. Lots of street noise and you could hear everything in the adjoining rooms and hallway. Not for the light sleeper.
