Rooms are huge and boast endless amenities, such as city and river views, laptop-size safes, high-speed Internet access and local art. The Romanesque Piazza d'Italia behind the hotel is ideal for outdoor special events. There is 17,000 square feet of meeting space.Highlights

All rooms are outfitted with a full complement of amenities including Keurig coffee makers and ergonomic executive desk chairs. Some rooms offer a separate shower and tub and second televisions. Grand king suites are perfect for families and include living space with a sofa bed and a whirlpool tub with a window and television, double sinks and separate shower.
Features
Esquire magazine's breakout chef of 2009, Chris Lusk, leads the hotel's Cafe Adelaide. The café is named for a glamorous member of the 1950s and 1960s avant-garde culture in New Orleans. It serves innovative local cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. French press coffee and pain perdu are breakfast highlights. At Swizzle Stick, bar chef Lu Brow does party-girl Adelaide proud, reviving classic cocktails and using only freshly squeezed juices and housemade mixers. The hotel offers valet parking (fees apply).

Spacious room
Room was very spacious with 2 chairs and ottoman to relax. Clean and well appointed with separate shower. Located in a nice area with short walk to French Quarter. Fulton and Canal streets are very close. A cute and nice little coffee shop is located behind the hotel in the warehouse district. The conceige does not have a seating area and if you need to get info be prepared to stand. The hotel resturant is pricey and they do not offer a more casual menu.

New Orleans trip
We had to leave a day early due to the fact my sister's heart medication was stolen from our room. The hotel is investigating but that did not help my sister nor did it prolong our stay as long as we had planned. The hotel is very nice and the employees we dealt with were very pleasant and helpful, but I would find it hard to recommend this hotel due to the circumstances during our stay. Perhaps they should screen their room staff better to keep theft from occurring.

Nice
The Good: The staff was very friendly. The beds were extremely comfortable. The room was quiet and clean with a great view. Valet parking had the cars in a deck so they were shaded and reasonably safe. The Bad: TV remote didn't work (was quickly fixed though) and the fire alarm blinked brightly at night. Internet access in the room cost $13/day on top of the hotel and parking fees.

Great hotel, great location
The hotel was great. A good location, walking distance to the French Quarter, a delicious restaurant and bar and all the amenities were great. Only disappointment was an indoor pool and daily parking charge was very high, $29.
