Called the "Belle of New Orleans," Le Pavillon Hotel stands out from the crowd of cookie-cutter chain hotels. A member of Historic Hotels of America, Le Pavillon was built in 1907 and still retains its majesty more than 100 years later with its high ceilings, opulent chandeliers, and antique furnishings in the lobby, as well as 219 refined guestrooms outfitted with marble bathrooms. The award-winning Crystal Room is the hotel's on-site dining option, with an inspired menu of Cajun-inspired cuisine.

Beautiful Hotel With a History

The hotel is gorgeous, the service was fantastic and the location could not have been better. We loved everything about our stay at this historic hotel. It was close enough to the action in the French Quarter without being noisy. The complimentary PB&J every night is just one more wonderful touch.

Anniversary weekend

The hotel was beautiful, clean, and the overall staff service was very polite, courteous and attentive to our needs. We walked a short distance to Harrah's casino and the French Quarter. I would highly recommend this hotel. We found that the amount of food served by room service was less than we expected for the cost of the meal.

I love this hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay there. The 10pm PB&J and cocoa was a nice touch. Coming in from the streets of NOLA and seeing the beautiful lobby and the friendly staff was so great! Its about a 4 block walk to Bourbon, but the bf and I didn't mind it at all... there's always something to see and it seemed like a safe area.

Wedding Day Bliss

I recently got married in the middle of the Piaza D'Italia and this hotel was near by. I had never even seen this hotel and I pretty much chose this hotel due to location. It was fabulous! It is very authentic New Orleans style, no commercial rooms. Wonderful service, ok location, and amazing atmosphere. They offer a late night snack of free peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and hot chocolate in the lobby every night at 10 p.m. I loved this hotel and was so glad to spend my wedding night there.

Great Stay Despite Minor Hitch

Despite a minor hiccup with our room reservation for the first night, I have nothing but great things to say about Le Pavillon. The room was beautiful, the staff was very helpful in making restaurant and jazz club recommendations, and the location was great. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to New Orleans

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

Check out Fritzel's European Jazz Club for great European style swing. Highlight of the trip.

will stay again...

I really like the hotel. It is beautiful and historical. Especially, like the restaurant in the hotel. The food is great and really convenient, though they are a little bit pricy. Great location. There is a convenient store right across the street.

the faucets weren't tied down to the sink, amenities like a clock had to be requested. moved rooms because I could hear people talking in the room next to mine. when I called prior to check in night staff was abrupt.

close enough yet far enough

location for us was very good. It was close enough to walk to the French Quarter (4 short blocks) yet far enough away from the French Quarter to get a quiet restful nights sleep.10PM snack was a nice touch in the lobbey too
