Called the "Belle of New Orleans," Le Pavillon Hotel stands out from the crowd of cookie-cutter chain hotels. A member of Historic Hotels of America, Le Pavillon was built in 1907 and still retains its majesty more than 100 years later with its high ceilings, opulent chandeliers, and antique furnishings in the lobby, as well as 219 refined guestrooms outfitted with marble bathrooms. The award-winning Crystal Room is the hotel's on-site dining option, with an inspired menu of Cajun-inspired cuisine.

Romantic and fantastic

My boyfriend and I went to New Orleans to party. I chose Le Pavilion because it had a heated pool which was great because I wasn't sure it would be warm enough for a unheated pool in March although it was..anyway as soon as we arrived I knew this hotel had more to offer then just a heated pool...everyone and I mean everyone we came into contact with was extremely nice and helpful..especially [...]the doorman and the front desk receptionist that checked us in...the hotel is breathtaking every where you turn you see something beautiful from the chandeliers to the paintings on the wall..and the pool is amazing and so is the view I would stay there again in a heartbeat and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Le Pavilion to anyone...The only problem I had which was a fairly small one was that the mini bar had some kinda censor so that if you even touched something (nuts, water or beer) it would be charged to youe room even if you didn't eat it and was just looking the lady @ the front desk failed to tell us that its a good thing the kid who brought up our luggage did..other then that there was nothing we didnt love!

Famtastic, Relaxing Getaway

The rooms were quiet and beds & linens comfortable. Soaps and shampoos were wonderful. Staff went above and beyond. My husband was not feeling well and they offered to make special chicken noodle soup. He did order soup and they offered a second bowl, no additional charge. They sent extra water to the room. No charge for bottled water in your room. Everyone at the hotel was there to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

unbeatable location for the price

Great people work at the hotel. Gave maps and great advice and directions. Location of hotel was close to bourbon street and basketball arena. Love the old style atmosphere. Felt like a high profile quest in a movie!

Great hotel, loved the little details

The hotel was clean, service very friendly, housekeeping good. I liked the pool although the water temperate was little too warm. Nice gym. It would need a bar by the pool. We went there to visit friends and relax and the hotel was perfect to do that.

Largely great, minimally bad

I've stayed here before and have always had a good experience. They will contact you beforehand regarding arrival time and permit an early check-in. Really considerate! The attractiveness of the hotel, location and service are excellent. The rooms are clean, except that I noticed some mold growing around the bathtub shower door. The high quality of the breakfast buffet may have slipped a bit from prior trips. Otherwise, I would stay here again without question.

The French Quarter restaurants are not a far walk. It is much quieter here than in the French Quarter.

Le Pavillon Hotel

A very nice hotel with great service! We wanted a local hotel, not a chain so it was a great choice. It had old New Orleans charm & class. A few areas could have been updated such as the carpet in the rooms and hallways as well as some areas the paint could have been refreshed. The location was just a few blocks from the Quarter so that was good; close but not too close.
