Called the "Belle of New Orleans," Le Pavillon Hotel stands out from the crowd of cookie-cutter chain hotels. A member of Historic Hotels of America, Le Pavillon was built in 1907 and still retains its majesty more than 100 years later with its high ceilings, opulent chandeliers, and antique furnishings in the lobby, as well as 219 refined guestrooms outfitted with marble bathrooms. The award-winning Crystal Room is the hotel's on-site dining option, with an inspired menu of Cajun-inspired cuisine.

Good value

We enjoyed our stay at Le Pavillon. The fitness center is a bit cramped and dated, but all other amenities and service at the hotel are top notch. Extremely comfortable beds!

Great Stay in NOLA

Had an awesome time at Le Pavillon Hotel. The hotel is situated a little outside of the French Quarter but you can easily walk everywhere. We walked all the way past Jackson Square for breakfast with ease. Bed was amazingly comofortable - stayed in the King. Hotel was clean. Waterbottles from the hotel bar were extremely expensive, I think it was like $15 for 2! Overall, awesome stay!

A unique experience

The rooms were elegantly appointed, albeit small. The black marble and gold gilt bathroom a show stopper. The restaurant pricey and not very good- but our waiter was wonderful. The Lobby was beautiful. One fun fact- everynite around 10 pm, in the lobby, they offer PBJ (yes I said peanut butter and jelly) sandwiches, milk and fruit for a late nite snack. Guests come in from partying or down from their rooms in their P.J.s everyone laughing and joking with each other.

Old World Charm

We stayed in 3 different N'awlins hotels, all superior, however, we really dug the people here the most. Each night in the lobby are peanut butter & jelly sandwiches and milk, a 27-year tradition, and that had a great vibe, and as in Europe, there are always people waiting and meeting, or hanging out, in the lobby, and the rooftop pool was fun, with accordant views, they gave us a nice upgrade on our room for a birthday celebration, the doorman / valet was the best ever, and the location is superior and the building's old world charm aesthetics superior, I look forward to returning.

Couldn't be better

Great place! Amenities, including data center to print boarding passes and the evening peanut butter and jelly, were excellent. Wonderful location, just a short walk to the St. Charles trolley and easy walking distance to Canal street. Staff was very pleasant and always helpful. Excellent Choice!

Old money and riches

This hotel is fabulous if your are looking for authentic New Orleans experience, as this hotel is 100 year old. The staff is very pleasant and concierge gave us some really good tips. The interiors are not just royal looking, they feel truly authentic and you feel like you are staying in a palace. Having your morning coffee in the Crystal room with crystal chandeliers and fire place going is just so divine!

Great Location

Wifi was hit and miss. Pool was great and so was workout room. Very small bathroom, so if there are two females....it's tough.

Awesome Hotel!

This hotel was awesome. We had a great time and experience! The hotel was beautiful and the staff was super friendly! The Peanut Butter and Jelly Bar with cold milk and hot chocolate was AMAZING! If I ever travel back to New Orleans, I would stay here again. Location was close to the French Market but not congested or loud, noisy, etc. My only recommendation is that the hotel do a bit more dusting! But, that really isn't that big of deal compared to other hotels I have seen!

Will go back to NO

Spent 4 nights and 3 days in the Big Easy. Loved the tours we took by Free Tours by Foot and visiting Mardi Gra World. Cab drivers were best we have had in a large city. Hotel has old world charm. Wish it was a little closer to the French Quarter - just too far for a couple of 70 year olds to walk. Getting to the Garden District is easy on the St Charles Street Car. All restaurants we tried were very good, Muriel's , GW Finns, Commanders Palace, Chop House, Cafe Du Monde and Marcellos. Extremely disappointed with our first evenings dinner in the Crystal Room at !e Pavillon. Would like to make a return trip.

Nice Hotel. Close to everything

Enjoyed our time at the hotel. The area is very safe and walking distance to the French Quarter. Parking pricey other options around the corner.
