Home away from home

This is my second time to stay at this hotel. I absolutely love it! Its not a big, huge, fancy corporate hotel with people constantly in and out. It's waking distance from Bourbon and kind of tucked away out of the way of all the tourist and drunks. The hotel staff is so friendly and helpful and the lady that runs the place actually remembered me when I stayed for the first time almost 8months ago. As long as I visit New Orleans I'm staying at St. Peters!

Unbeatable location for the price

This was my second stay at St. Peters and I will never stay anywhere else on my trips to New Orleans. The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. Additionally it's located just 3 blocks from Bourbon street and for the price, it just really can't be beat!

would stay again

We picked this hotel based on price and location and it lived up to our expecations. It was only a 5 minute walk from Bourbon St and a 10 to 15 minute walk from the street car. The room had ice cold air conditioning and was perfectly clean. This is a very basic room with few amenities but if you want a safe, comfortable place to crash after a night on the town, it is perfect. The staff was friendly and accomodating, as well. The 706 Club bar across the street is a great place for a nightcap anf has the kindest staff.

Nice place, won't break you

This is a nice little hotel, perfect stay if you are traveling alone or with a friend/girl or boyfriend/spouse. I would not suggest this as a place for a honeymoon. It's a wonderful place to stay if you are short on money. The room and bed was kinda small, but all the space you need. As long as you and your other don't mind sleeping very very close together, you should be fine. The staff at the desk are very helpful, tell them what you are looking for in a bar, dinner, attractions, music, anything and they can tell you where to go. They can also call a cab to pick you up. Cab drivers know where everything is, just tell them the name of where you are going. The only problem is noise. The doors are paper thin and you can hear everything going on outside. Subtract that and this place is great.

Jackson Square is a wonderful place. You can browse and buy local artists art work. There are also some great places to grab a quick cheap lunch. There are horse buggie rides. Private buggie is 60/half hour, or a group buggie is 12 per person for a half hour. Plenty of sights and sounds to behold at Jackson Square.
