Great place !!
St. Peter House is very classic New Orleans.....authentic furnishing and building. It is not fancy......no phone in the room, had to ask for things like iron and alarm clock....It was very clean, though, and the staff was lovely and very helpful with any request I had. The location is perfect because it is within walking distance of everything in the French Quarter but far enough from Bourbon Street that you can actually have a quiet night of sleep. I will definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay to enjoy Nawlins
My wife and I walked around the French Quarter and the surrounding areas. We found this hotel a great place to stay because it was incredibly close to everything we wanted to do. We brought our own toilet paper, soap, and shampoo because that's what we do. the hotel did provide this too. I would recommend bringing an alternate pillow. The room was small but gorgeous in 18th century design. Loved our stay there.

Alpine restaurant was fantastic, but Arnauds was a disgrace in taste to the French quarter in my opinion. I wanted to try Acme Oyster and Napolean house but there was a huge line both times I tried to eat there. Preservation Jazz Hall on Bourbon made us in my opinion the worst drinks and yet they were the most expensive. The 700 club near the hotel despite being a gay bar had amazing drink specials and the daytime bartender was fantastic.

Great Location-Exceptionally Nice People
Quaint hotel, with very friendly personnel, situated in an old Creole townhouse, in the middle of the French Quarter. Some rooms even offer a balcony overlooking the quarter. Ideal for the seasoned, laid-back traveler, who prefers a convenient location to everything, more than the hassles of a "cookie-cutter" chain establishment.

Great Location & Staff
Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the French Quarter. The location was great, and we couldn't beat the price. My only complaint was that my room was pretty shoddy compared to the room my friend received (we booked at the same time and paid the same price). Not only was her room larger, but it was really charming. My room, however, had roughly patched holes in the walls and hadn't been updated or decorated like the others. That said, the staff was great, and when I forgot my phone on the hotel bed they shipped it back to me carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and glittery gold garlands; getting my phone back was like receiving a great Christmas present! :-)

Location and Character!!!
Wonderful location. The hotel is small and has lots of character. They do not have the same amenities as a larger chain, but the staff is friendly and you can't beat the location.

Mardi Gras Prime Location
This was my third trip to NOLA. I had never stayed so close to Buorbon Street. Great location only a couple of blocks off Bourbon, only a couple of blocks from parking on Rampart street. St. Peters is a semi entertainment street in the city once you walk past Bourbob it takes you to the cathedral, the mississippi, the french market. The location was ideal for venture out, come back to drop some stuff off or pick up some more stuff. staff was very helpful, especially sine it was cold while I was there offering more blankets, etc. This was a great trip and I think the hotel's location added a great deal to it. The room I was in was a king, decent bed ( a little worn), tiled floors throughout (it was cold so they were cold), big windows and lots of light during the day, decent sized bathroom, turn down service everyday with fresh towels, etc.
