Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

Metairie Cemetery is probably the most impressive of the many cemeteries. It's a 15 minute drive from the French Quarter but well worth it. Most impressive area is to the far left after entering. City Park and the Longue Vue House are within a half mile of the cemetery.

Great Long Weekend

Room was large and beautiful, nice and clean, staff was great, and the location of the hotel in the French Quarter is perfect. Breakfast buffet and coffee in the morning was delicious. Highly recommend this hotel.

Nice but cramped

As most hotels in the French Quarters are, the room that we stayed in was very cramped. I understand that it's a very old building so I'm not ranking it much lower because of that. Other than the room size, the staff was friendly, the rooms are very clean, and the location is fantastic

Classy, but close enough to get crazy

This is a great hotel that is literally steps from the craziness of bourbon street. Close enough to get back and enjoy the stylish luxury, but far enough to leave the party behind.

Bourbon is literally 50m away. This place is a great hideaway for classy people who want to be close to the action.

Halloween Fun!

Rooms are beautiful! Location is perfect for the entire French Quarter - especially Bourbon Street. Little bit of noise, but that is to be expected for this convenient location. Staff was very friendly! Overall, we loved this hotel and will definitely stay here again!

NOLA Revisited

This was our 3rd September visit to NOLA and we stayed at the Mazarin each year. The first year it was the St. Louis & the Mazarin the last 2 years. You'll love the "included" Full Breakfast every morning. The Mazarin management, owners & staff have done a great job returning an old hotel to a New Great Place to be! Don't bother renting a car, unless you plan to drive to Mobile or somewhere like that. The Hop-on-hop-off pass for public transportation is all you need for New Orleans. Any excursion out of town, provides transportation, like the Swamp Tour or Plantation tours. They pick you up at your hotel. Since the Mazarin is in the French Quarter, everything you need is within walking distance. We had a GREAT time and will probably return next year. Good Lord willing!

Fantastic overnight hotel.

Good hotel and location for the price, but be aware of catch-ups like the valet parking. Be sure the charge the correct amount.

Great location

We loved this hotel - it's a half a block from Bourbon Street, with a very central location, but our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. We loved being able to walk almost everywhere, and would definitely stay here again. Nice, professional staff and modern rooms were a big plus.

Wonderful anniversary stay!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay and enjoyed seeing all of the beautiful renovations. We got engaged at the Louis XVI 25 years ago! This was our 3rd stay at the hotel over the years and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was beautiful and everyone was so accomodating! If we could add anything it would be a pool because of the summer heat!!
