New orleans
The hotel was recently renovated and the rooms were nice but small. It was missing the few features and nice touches. There is no in room dining and no restaurant in the hotel, but plenty nearby. The parking situation is just that, a situation. We paid more than $70 for two days and after waiting more than 30 min for our car it arrived covered in bird [*]. With so many good hotels in NOLA I would not recommend staying here. Go for the room in need of a renovation for the charm. This hotel is lacking that.

Disaster turned out ok.
We were assigned to the St. Ann on Rue Conti. Upon arrival a sign on the door said that the hotel was closed for renovations and to please go to St. Louis on Bienville St. Thank goodness we had an iphone and was able to find our new destination without too much of a hassel. Once we found where we were supposed to be the rest of our trip went off smoothly and we had a good time. The only thing is I wish I was aware of the renovations because it would have saved me from having a mini freak out. :)

Very Nice Stay
Great location in the heart of the French Quarter a half a block off Bourbon St. Clean, freshly renovated rooms with a friendly staff. Complimentary cocktail with check-in was a nice touch.

One half block off Bourbon Street, yet very quiet - everything brand new, good attention to detail, friendly staff, comfortable rooms - limited breakfast, very "techno" bar (neon etc.) - great base for French Quarter

Great location & value within French Qtr
My wife and I just returned from our first trip to New Orleans and found the Hotel Le Marais to be an excellent hotel perfectly situated between Bourbon and Royal (especially given the awful experience the college friends we were meeting had at their hotel). The Hotel Le Marais was clean and the staff friendly and helpful and overall a great value.

nice hotel, good location
Hotel was clean & new. We had to ask to have maid-service on the 2nd day, but it wasn't a big deal & it was done as soon as we asked.
