Jazzy hotel near the Superdome with pool, fitness center, restaurant
This hotel near the Superdome embraces the jazz spirit of New Orleans with a giant clarinet mural on its façade. Inside, there's a 200-piece collection of local art. Rooms have balconies, and there is a heated rooftop pool. There's also an on-site fitness center and a restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Fun in New Orleans
Great place to stay. Wish the shuttle would be more accomodating - only runs on the hour and leaving the hotel on the shuttle is much more accomodating than if you request them to pick you up on their route.

Take in a plantation tour, swamp tour & garden district tour. Well worth hearing & seeing the sights and history of New Orleans.

Good Hotel Experience
Hotel was wonderful. Only drawback was that it is located on the "fringe" of downtown tourist areas. Walking to distant parts wasn't too bad, but expect to require taxi when time is important and/or sightseeing is tiring. Taxis can be hailed, but allow allow plenty of time for pickup at hotel. Staff and service were excellent. Some local tours pick up at the hotel; others are boarded elsewhere (although most will drop you off at your hotel at the end of the tour). Hotel is Convenient to streetcar.

Depending on how far you are going, you On a busy holiday weekend (such as New Year's Eve), do not expect to be able to get a taxi back to your hotel! City tour, riverboat cruises and bus tours to major sights are highly recommended.

Close to the French quarter and Warehouse district, buses/streetcars available to other neighborhoods such as MidCity, Garden District, and Marigny but also walk-able if you are up to it

friend of the Saints
Saints paradise!
We went to New Orleans with another family, so eight of us total. Adults and children alike were thrilled with the location of this hotel, as well as the friendly staff (they were amazing!) The hotel is in the perfect location, all attractions are easily walked to, plenty of GREAT places to eat! and a very quick walk to the SUPERDOME! It was a wonderful experience, when I go back I will for sure stay at this hotel.

Great Halloween Weekend

Pretty Cool Place :)
I liked this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a bit away from the French Quarter but the free shuttle was a blessing.. All in all I had a great time! But I think I'll book a room on Canal Street my next visit so I can just walk to everything close by..

good location
The hotel was in a pretty decent area, the hotel has a bus service that will take you down to the quarters. The parking was a little expensive but hey $25 for in and out parking it's worth it.

Excellent Hotel!
We really enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn Superdome. The hotel wasn't as close to the French Quarter, restaurants, etc. as I believed it would be. (The distance is about eight blocks.) I was disappointed at first, but then I appreciated the fact that this hotel sets apart from the hub-bub of New Orleans. We were able to escape. The pool area was lovely. The hotel was superclean, and the staff -- from the front desk to the restaurant to the cleaning staff -- was EXCELLENT! They were all friendly and helpful. We plan to stay at this hotel on all of our return visits!
