Great view and staff
The Hilton Riverside was very clean and easy to get to. We stayed as a tropical storm pushed through the gulf and the staff there made sure everyone was safe and still able to enjoy their stay.

Great for business or pleasure!
The Hilton New Orleans Riverside was clean, comfortable and convenient. Located adjacent to the RiverWalk area on the Mississippi river, it was withing easy walking distance to the Convention Center, Downtown and the French Quarter. We felt very safe walking around the area, even at night. Drago's restaurant is not to be missed for their Roasted Oysters. We ate some phenomenal food in New Orleans and these oysters were in a class by themselves! The Aquarium and IMAX theater are also next door to the hotel. We will definitely stay here during future visits. Five stars in our book!

Great location!
We stayed at this hotel New Year's Eve. We had tickets to a concert at the House of Blues, and this hotel was not far from there. It was, also, right beside the Aquarium and the Riverwalk. We loved strolling down the Riverwalk. The room was super clean and nice. We had the best view looking out over the river. We will definately stay here again our next trip to New Orleans!

Wonderful Family experience
New Orleans is back better than ever. We experienced the great flavor of wonderful food, art and music. We took a carriage ride through the French Quarter. It was so romantic, even with two children. The Hilton has the most comfortable beds!! WE CAN'T WAIT TO COME BACK!

The Pierce's love New Orleans
The bad thing regarding my trip was on the return. First my flight was moved from 5 PM to 8PM; Once at the airpot we were told that my party of three have to stay over night in Chicago. This would not work with a 85 year person. So United sent us to Dulles Internation Airport. We had to take a cab from Dulles ($99.50) to Bowie. The next morning we had to go to Baltimore Internation Airport to pickup our car another ($8.00) for over time parking. This is more money that I did not want to have to pay out. Other then this delay, I still rate my trip with Orbitz five stars. I will be using Orbitz this coming December for my next trip.

Short walk from hotel
Take trolley from Burbon St.and head west on St. Charles. You'll have a chance to see many older beautiful homes along with history. This is a 7 mile trip to the end of the line. On the way back stop at one of the many restaurants.
