Great Location

A little expensive for the type of hotel that it is. Though you are really paying to be on the French Quarter.

Wierd Hotel

The hotel was on the twelth floor of an office building, but the staff was very helpful. No pool or workout facilities even though they show them.

Great time in the French Quarter

Having the security at the hotel made the trip feel very safe. Being two blocks from Bourbon Street made walking the best way to get around, didn't have to worry about parking. The staff there were very helpful and friendly.

Overnight stay

We stayed 1 night so we could catch the train back out the next morning so we didn't see much. Everyone there was very nice, helpful and eager to please. The room was nice and well supplied. Our room was way too close to the elevators. All night LONG!!

ok, needs its carpets cleaned.

The hotel itself is ok. Most of it appeared clean, but all carpets in and out of the rooms need to be cleaned. There are visible stains and the floor feels sticky when you walk barefoot in your room. The rooftop pool is really tiny, but you can get a good view of the city up there. Also if you park your own car in the garage you can save at least half the parking cost.

Hilton Garden Inn New Orleans

The shower head was broken and I had to hold it up to rinse my hair out. The alarm clock was set to the wrong time which almost gave me a heart attack when I woke up the day of an important meeting. The bed was really comfortable and the view of the skyline was beautiful. It was very convenient to walk to the French quarter but a little removed from the chaos. The pool was tiny but it was nice to be able to sit in sun outside. For the price that I paid I would have expected breakfast to be included. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the suggestion one lady at the front desk gave me for dinner was the best food I ate during my stay there.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

One of the staff gave me the recommendation to eat at Oceana restaurant on Bourbon and Conti and it was the best food I ate in NOLA. Get the crab cake pasta!

Great hotel in NOLA

Very nice hotel - close to the French Quarter but far enough that the noise wasn't an issue. Rooms were up to date and clean. Staff was helpful and polite. Would stay here again when visiting New Orleans.
