If the New Orleans Convention Center is your destination. This hotel is in a perfect location. Right across the street. Rooms are large and comfortable. I liked the feel of the hotel, a refurbished former warehouse. FREE WIFI.... a must for me. The breakfast buffet was nice. No restaurant with service but, you are in New Orleans...walk a little ways to great choices.

One night weekend
Other than the limited space to park and having to valet for $30, everything was fantastic. The staff, location, room, atmosphere, and breakfast was outstanding. We will definitely return!

Great place to stay in New Orleans
This hotel was first rate in every way and an easy walk to the trolley. A little farther to the French Quarter, but still easy. I especially appreciated the friendly helpful staff.

The City tour, Swamp boat ride, and Laura Plantation tour all picked us up at our hotel. All were very worth doing.

Great
We pulled up and was treated like the STARS that we are. they opened a line for us and brought in our bags and unpacked us and asked us if we needed anything else. and all i had to do is pick up the phone and asked for anything and they would get it.

Wonderful Staff
I was in NOLA for a conference at the Convention Center so this was the ideal location and the hotel staff was top of the line fabulous. I love Hampton's free breakfast and the variety daily was excellent. My room had a little fridge and microwave though I was not in a suite and that was really helpful as I arrived late and had grabbed a sandwich at the airport. The only downfall with this location is that they do not have a restaurant on site and most of the soda machines on the floors were empty but a quick trip to CVS or Walgreens on Canal Street to purchase water etc takes care of that issue plus it's cheaper. I would definitely stay here again!

Short walk from hotel
About two blocks from the hotel right on Convention Center Blvd (so it's safe to walk) is a fabulous restaurant called Mulates. So a short walk gets you fabulous food and at 7:00pm each evening live music and dancing. Definitely try the Catfish Mulate, the grilled blackened chicken poboy and the caramel cheesecake and be sure to ask for [...]she is amazing.

The good, and the bad
Tried to go and relax in the pool. There were two many kids playing volley ball, and it went on for several hours. We never got in. We were Dissapointed with lack of hotel supervision. Harah's Casino was 4 blocks away. We really enjoyed it. The Buffet food was cold. The Riverwalk and several other Great Attractions are in walking distance. We had a hard time with the night time Valet upon our return. He was never around. The parking cost $30.00 Dollars. The hotel Clerk was ouoted to have said leave your car out on the street until they locate him. Very poor night valet service. The Hampton Inn in Houston TX and Dallas Tx were much Better.

Not the worse I have stayed in...
The price of valet parking (which was the ONLY type of parking that was available) was OUTRAGEOUS. They were not the most polite group of people at the front desk, not very many smiles or manners. The hotel was not the cleanest I have stayed in but it was acceptable. It definitely was close to downtown.

New Years Eve Stay
The location was great to get to all the Wonderful spots in New Orleans quickly. The check in was quick and easy. I found the staff very helpful and the Valet service, which is a must in New Orleans, to be great. Never had to wait long for the car. You will be pleased if you choose to stay here.

Good Location
Hotel is in the warehouse district across the street from the convention center. The hotel is in walking distance to many attractions. If you are a busy person and on the go, the hotel is a nice place to stay. If you like amenities and room service this is not the place for you. I give the breakfast an A+. The staff was nice and efficient.
