Not worth the money

I don't mind paying for quality but I just didn't see or receive the level of service I expect at that price.

Ask yourself & be honest...do you want to stay on Bourbon Street or not?

It was our first time to NOLA, we thought Bourbon Street was the way to go but turns out it wasn't the NOLA we were looking to experience. However, 1 block in every direction helped us discover the true beauty of this city. With that being said, we would not stay here again both due to it's location on Bourbon Street & our overall experience with this Sheraton was just average. The staff (aside from the smiling young man from room service who brought the champagne, and the lovely Rhoda, who helped with our tour plans & gave us recommendations) was apathetic. Our room was barely ready upon arrival & when we entered it, it smelled of damp smoke. To be fair, the only way to get fresh air into the room was opening the door to the balcony overlooking Bourbon Street (which was a far worse smell depending on time of day) & we did not request a new room as we didn't spend much time in it anyway. The room & hotel were clean enough. The noise level is high almost 24 hour a day but that didn't bother us. We originally wanted a balcony to enjoy a drink & people watch but after the first day we realized there we no people we were interested in watching so save your $ here. The fire alarm went off one AM, scared the heck out of us until a muffled voice said it was just a drill (advance notice would've helped). The elevator was out temporarily of service one evening, however, without a sign advising people, we wasted time as a result. I would say this was mid-range as far as price, not a bargain but not as expensive as many other. Barely a thank you from front desk/lobby hotel staff when we checked out. Overall, if you are looking to stay on Bourbon Street, this may be the best option. But if not, there are so many other hotels/B&Bs/Inns that may provide better service & value. Do your homework & enjoy your trip!

off season

This is a very nice hotel in a great location right on bourbon street. Pricing is very reasonable off season. The nightlife is loud however so I wouldn't pick this location for a business trip or family vacation.

Just a short stumble to my hotel

This hotel is just as advertised...great. Right in the heart of the quarters and within stumbling distance from most of the major bars and sites in the quarters. My room was clean and the staff was super nice....what could be better?

Loved it!

We loved the location of this hotel, right in the middle of all the fun, we had a room with a balcony overlooking bourbon street, it was worth the money you spend for the room. It was nice to sit out there and watch everybody. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning to this hotel.

great place to stay-- was taken back by a sign at the parking deck-- not responsible if your car is damaged even by the staff or if even drived off site by the staff!!!!

Business Trip

The last time I stayed here was when it was a Ramada. Four Points has corrected all of the shortcomings that were part of the old hotel chain. I especially appreciated the additional security in the elevators. Room was awesome and quiet, other guests not so much. It was a little rowdy when the other guests returned from partying. My room was near the elevator so I took the brunt of it. Otherwise, the hotel staff was professional, helpful and very welcoming. Cleaning crew was a little loud and kept banging the vacuum cleaner into the walls of the adjoining room and speaking very loudly in the hallways. Swimming pool was a great amenity.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

The Original Daiquiri Shop is a few doors down on Bourbon Street. Start your night off with at 44oz 190 Octane. It is awesome and you save a lot of money on alcohol.
