OK for overnight stay
This hotel is ok but nothing to brag about. The bed slept well which is what I needed. The location was convenient to the convention center and Harrah's Casino... A little further to the French Quarter... Interior colors were filled with bright orange which was a bit too much for me.. Exercise facility was minimal with barbells and a few aerobic machines. It was certainly cheaper than other hotels in the area but you can see why.

Yes...and no
We were only there for one night, and had to crowd everything into two partial days, which is why the website description of a "short walk" to the French Quarter (VERY misleading) was pretty disappointing. Our room was fine, no surprises there. Pool was good. Very courteous personnel.

New Yorker at Heart
Horrible Hotel and Staff - STAY AWAY!!!
We stayed at this hotel during a renovation period which we didn't know about until we arrived. The service WAS HORRIBLE. During the renovation period, the pool was not working nor was the gym. We had to go to another hotel for both. They claimed to offer free internet, but it didn't work. They said my brand new laptop was not working when in fact their server was down. The said that they offered free complimentary breakfast, but when we went to get cofffe there was none. It was a joke as the maid was running around making waffles and pouring coffee. The walls are paper thin as we heard every word spoken by the people who were staying in the adjoining room. Management was NEVER around to address these issues. The saff is very unprofessional and sloppy in appearence and attitude. For the culmination of this horrific experience, we found a used condom behind the bed while we were searching for our lost ring. IT WAS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! AGAIN STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL, YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED AS WE WERE!!!

No REEEEEEL hospitality!
The hotel was nice enough but the service was not very good. We did enjoy a nice walk from the hotel to the French Quarters together. Service is always important to us and we were dis-appointed.

decent place
This was your average middle-of-the-road hotel. The room was clean and had all your basic necessities: shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, remote tv, in room coffee, dining downstairs, pool. It is a walkable distance to the french quarter. We are in our 50's and the walk was not too bad. Parking as we know it is nonexistant. That is to say, you pretty much have to do valet parking, At least it is a covered area. We stayed one night and the cost to park was $28!

Good Hotel, good location
Good stay, front desk was helpful with directions and general local info and allowed us to check in very early.Rooms do not include refrigerators or clocks.The [...]site should make it known that there is a a $20 daily parking fee, if I had known that I probably would have looked for another hotel or least known that it was going to cost me an extra $20 a day to stay there with the rental car sitting in their garage.
