Cute hotel, great staff!
I had a nice stay at the country inn and suites. I was there for a conference held down the road. The hotel was in walking distance of the business district, riverwalk, French quarterd, and bourbon st. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The hotel is very cute and well kept. They provided a continental breakfast. My only complaint was the room was small but I didn't spend that much time in it. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

A most welcoming place
All the staff at Country Inn and Suites were most friendly and accommodating - a quiet spot right outside the French Quarter.

Love NOLA
Good value without a lot of frills
This hotel is a good place to stay and a great value if you are not looking for a lot of amenities (meaning updated room, mini bar, soft fluffy towels, etc.) Not as close to the quarter as I had thought as the name "French Quarter" implies so if you want to be closer than a good 15 min. walk, stay closer. The bar is very small, but the bartender is fabulously nice and makes a stiff one. The guys outside, valet or whatever you want to call them, were ridiculously useless and rude. Once guy actually asked me why I kept asking him questions when they had a concierge inside?? I guess because I wanted to see if they actually worked instead of standing around talking when they were constantly overstaffed. Anyway, breakfast was pretty good in the morning and the wait staff in there were very nice so they made up for the smarmy 'valet'.

Excellent staff and great value
The Country Inn & Suites is within easy walking distance of the French Quarter, and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. Given the price, I would definitely come back again.

Couple Getaway
The hotel was a great place to stay and relax on our short vacation. It was convenient to walk around to the restaurants, the staff was helpful, the breakfast was generous and it was very comfortable. We did a city tour and swamp tour (airboat ride) within the 3 days we were at the hotel. The concierge was very helpful in getting us discounts and recommending restaurants.

Mother's great food. From eggs, ham, gumbo to great fried chicken & green's. Oh yes, awesome bloody mary! Also try out New Orlean's school of cooking. My husband even enjoyed it. Great history lesson of New Orleans.

Great family weekend!!
We took our family to New Orleans for the weekend to see the Saints play a pre-season game and do a little shopping and sightseeing. We've stayed at different places in N. O. doing this on about four other occasions and this hotel was definitely the best stay and location for the money! Nice, clean, well-located and a friendly helpful staff! We will absolutely stay here again...

You can find much better prices on t-shirts and souvenirs by going to the shops on Decatur Street than buying any of that stuff on Bourbon Street. Plus it's more family friendly and smells alot better!

Nice
Nice building, close to everything, confortable room although view faced other buildings. Small swimming pool and probably better if they have parking lot by the building so most probable you will end up paying valet. I recommend it.
