Vacation
Loved this hotel! Clean, very friendly and helpful staff, great location (walking distance from most of the things we wanted to see). They advertised free breakfast, but I didn't expect the variety they had. It was great, plenty of food and very good.

Get the $3 street car/bus pass. You can use the daily pass on either. Buy by the day, not the 2 or 3 day passes. Its cheaper.

Wonderful Hotel
This is an outstanding hotel in New Orleans. The room, breakfast, location, and staff were excellent . The hotel was full, but was very quiet with never any problem for sleeping. My wife and I were very pleased with every aspect of this hotel. WE recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a wonderful experience.

Good Deal
Overall, the Country Inn & Suites was a great value hotel. The room and bathroom was clean, as was the hotel overall. There is no restaurant in the hotel, however, so no room service available. However, complimentary continental breakfast. The lounge in the hotel is really more of a kiosk with liquor and beer. Very nice bartender though. Closed too early at 11:00 PM; not great if you are a tourist and plan on just lounging around your room for the night after dinner, and want to have a late drink. The gift shop was practically bare; limited snacks/toiletries/drinks. Looked like they were refilling the stock on our way out, though. Great location; just a couple of blocks from Bourbon St. and the French Quarter; away from the chaos. Would definitely stay again because of the location and the great price per night for the room.

My review of Country Inn & Suites New Orleans French Quarter
The staff was friendly and the room was clean, however the bed was a bit uncomfortable. I enjoyed the continental breakfast --- they had a good selection of food. It was also good that it was in walking distance to area sighseeing, shopping, and restaurants.

Enjoyable
My room was a little small, but clean and better than adequate. The staff was helpful, went that extra step. The breakfast bar was great.

Nice location close yet not too close
stayed while attending a conference, location close to other conference sites and nitelife. I was confused though because the Hotel has suites but they are not available to Orbitz customers. This was not clear to me at time of purchase by Orbitz.

Best Price for the Location
As a New Orleans native, this hotel is in the best possible location for walking to the French Quarter and River Walk. Since the hotel is located on Magazine Street, you can hop on the bus that passes in front of the hotel and it'll take you Uptown. The rooms were clean and big enough. Internet is free. There's a small pool outside that's fun to splash around in. My only complaint is that parking is valet only for $25 a day. I suppose parking is expensive everywhere in this area, but if you're staying at the place for 3 days, you could've stayed a 4th night with the money you're spending on parking. If you're traveling without a car, this is the perfect place for you.

My favorite New Orleans restaurant of all time, Mother's, is right around the corner. Get a cup of seafood gumbo and a shrimp po-boy then walk over to Cafe du Monde in the Quarter for cafe au lait and beignets.
